2024-12-01 | brittany smith | Avoid the app/company. I canceled my subscription months ago. They just charged me $59.99. I immediately emailed them asking why I'm being charged if I canceled my subscription. They offer me a 6 month extended access but say they can't honor the refund. When I ask why was I even charged if I canceled the subscription, they quit responding. Do not be scammed by them!!!
2024-11-05 | Shanelle Munjal-Stephens | My son has LOVED this app. It has a great variety of learning games within it to teach different skills. He loves the art section because after you paint an animal it moves and looks like it comes to life. We are still exploring all the sections of the app, but I'm so glad we've found it ! It's such a great screen alternative to videos and YouTube.
2024-11-01 | Meghan Blount | I gave this app a try but decided it was not what my kids could use on their tablets or our home PC. the only option to cancel subscription is to submit a request. Initially, someone emailed me back and then when I informed them of the issue they just ignored my request and stopped communicating. I had to call my bank and put a stop payment and get new card. this app is a SCAM! The "sleeping/moaning" noises heard in the back ground of the apps homepage is totally inappropriate for children.
2024-10-10 | brittany smith | IntellectoKid has been a fantastic addition to my son's learning routine! He absolutely loves the app and eagerly looks forward to completing the worksheets every day. The engaging content and variety of activities keep him excited about learning. However, I was hoping for access to more activities. Some features require an additional premium payment, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a great app that provides solid educational value.
2024-08-23 | Emily Gann | Horrible Experience I initially downloaded to see if it'd be a good fit for my kids. I decided to pass and had hit cancel on any subscriptions. Come to find out, they've been charging me $60 a month and will only let me 'submit a request' to cancel the subscriptions. Had to have my bank shut down my debit card because this app refuses to let me cancel the subscriptions. And the customer service just tried to get you to sign up for discounts and deals when you request to leave.
2024-07-13 | Cherrymae Wimmer | Once your child figures out how the app works, they might enjoy it. It took my 4 year old about a month to truly understand how it worked, he loved the science tab and learning about the elements. It loses a star due to sometimes I cannot even tell how to solve the game and it's frustrating and then we just go to another section in the app. So tutorials and if the child doesn't get it a better notification, more than an arrow is needed.
2024-06-18 | J. Carmona | Crooked company. I signed up for the trial period but they immediately charged me the full amount. Somehow another subscription was added. When I call to get assistance all they do is go back and forth to cover themselves. I literally contacted customer support in order to cancel the subscriptions and they responded that I needed to contact customer support to cancel my subscriptions. They have no idea what they're doing, this is nothing more than a subpar product with multiple hidden fees.
2024-06-17 | Lydia Im | Edit: I put up a big enough stink about this issue that they refunded me, reluctantly, almost 3 MONTHS AFTER I asked for cancellation, with a "even though it goes against our policy" lol then asked me to edit my review here. I added 1 star for effort, I guess. My truthful review still stands: canceling is tricky, over half of the app requires more purchases, the whole thing is dubbed in canned AI voice, the printouts are not free! This is not an app to find screen-free content. I'd stay away.
2024-06-09 | Lori Upton | *UPDATE! They made it right. I am very happy they not only refunded the one charge I was asking for, they refunded everything. Just make sure you pay attention to ALL of the charges if you sign up. I also should add that the games were fun & entertaining. It's just too much money for me. BEWARE! Very misleading when it comes to charges. They charged me twice and won't refund my money.
2024-03-23 | Andrew Ellis | Cash grab. Not worth it. I seriously regret buying this. I didn't realize when I was purchasing access to it for a year I was only purchasing access to make more purchases. It is essentially $40 for a game for a year. The games are cool but I genuinely see no added value over free games and resources out there. Paying $30 extra for the worksheets and $30 for videos is insane. I've never regretted a purchase more in my life and I wish I had thought to come to the app store to read reviews first. |
