Sometimes you gotta restart wifi or your phone to pick up a signal from a Roku device, but they introduced a faster method of restarting wifi, so they're proactive about making sure this app is convenient to use. Premium was well worth the purchase. |
| 2024-11-16 |  | | I used to use this app on a regular basis. Now every web video buffers to the point that it's unwatchable. I can watch a web video on my phone or laptop with no issue. If I try to use this app to cast that same video to my TV it buffers non-stop. I've since uninstalled and changed my 4 star rating to a 1. Looking for alternatives atm. |
| 2024-11-12 |  | | Paid premium for this garbage. Most websites will cast from Chrome, but when I try to use them through this app, it won't keep a proper connection. I'll go back to using chrome and casting extensions on my laptop, this isn't worth it. Doesn't matter how many reports you submit, nothing gets fixed. If the website can cast from Chrome, and can load the video just fine, then despite Web Video Cast's claims, it IS MOST CERTAINLY a problem with the app. Joke of a casting app. 4 stars for visibility. |
| 2024-11-04 |  | | I like this app for screen share and yes it can be slow and the subtitles r Funky but it works sometimes only if that Specific show is Strictly subtitle but it works most times with the strictly part but other then that it's better then any screen share apps I used and this is free so its a win win 🏆 and yes there's ads that u gone have ti deal with but I ex out of it then re open it to make it disappear and it works sometimes but don't have to many tabs open or it's not going to save ur stuff |
| 2024-11-04 |  | | This is an exceptional program that solved a HUGE problem for me. I bought educational courses to watch on my phone or computer, but wanted to see them on a 65" Hisense Roku TV. After trying several other casting programs, I found this one. The display and sound is excellent. I downloaded the app to the phone, cast, then just followed instructions to download it on the TV. It worked flawlessly. I paid for the Premium version. I am doing the happy dance! Thank you for this fantastic app. |

I lost access to my premium account through an update, they responded and it was solved. If you're someone who needs a simple video cast app, I highly recommend it |

Used to connect to my TV (I have the web video cast app installed on my roku tv) and even to my Xboxs but now it can't find anything to stream to. Shame cause I paid for it to block ads and get full features. Hoping the Dev will see this updated review and troubleshoot me. |
| 2024-10-28 |  | | Great app! My phone can't stream to my cheap Roku TV, but with this app I can stream absolutely any video. It's amazing! Whoever came up with this idea deserves an award. You use the built in web browser to navigate to the web page with the video you want to stream and it'll automatically ask if you want to stream the video. Sometimes the video file being streamed will load better than if you watched it on your phone! To makes things even better the app's built in web browser blocks ads! |
| 2024-10-17 |  | | I was looking for a casting app to watch movies on my Roku TV from my Moto g phone. All the others just left me wanting but this one does the best job. I automatically got the premium version. I was having trouble casting, then I noticed that this app was already on my TV. So I got the app for my phone, and wallah. All the others, you have to have wifi data connection, but with this one all you have to have is a hot spot. This still works without data I'm out hotspot data, but it still works. |
| 2024-10-16 |  | | Application just not usable after last few updates. Web pages opens very slow, videos not detecting correctly anymore. Just stuck in the middle of any operation. Updated. After few hours of settings manipulation application works fine again. This not the first time when application changing behavior after update. Technically this is a great tool to extract and cast any video from web pages. |
