The absolute worst app I have ever used. Just piss poor service unlike anything I have experienced. I use this app to occasionally deliver groceries to my grandparents. I simply added a new card that was my dad's and they locked the account. That was a month ago. When it happened I did the id verification not once. Not twice. But three times and each time it would say it'd be under review. No email confirmation or anything by the way. Now a month later and the lock is still there. Unacceptable

If I could give 0 stars I would. While away from home for a surgery, I used this app for the ease Or so I thought. My account was charged, then the order was canceled (because of a change of location, then my access was blocked preventing me from reaching customer service. So, while primarily ordering strawberries for a little girl who has had 2 brain surgeries in a month, I'm having to deal with this. How about you do all the verification stuff BEFORE you charge accounts and block access?!?!?!

The UX if there aree any errors is very poor. Will need to login on the website to get full error information. Customer support is terrible. I was a customer for years and was besically happy, but they recently locked me out of my account in the middle of an order, with no way to complete so I had to go tot he store and complete myself. so basically if it works it's good, when it doesn't you are SOL. I'm looking for alternatives.

Very good experience. Very efficient. The only thing that I don't like about this food delivery app is that it does not allow the option to tip after your food is delivered ensuring that it was delivered properly hole or that the order was completed properly but other than that it is great.

Continues to add items i did not add and charge me. Than i have to call customer service and wait days for a credit. As of right now 3-4 items were added, I deleted them because i did NOT add them but I was still CHARGED. Not sure if I should continue with instacart. Will change my review if this is rectified. Meaning my card credited for items not added but end up in my cart. Plus, whatever this extra add on glitch fixed. Thanks.

0☆I'm rural, not metro, so maybe my experience is different. But my experiences are mostly bad, and the cost is astronomical. Typically, $100 for what a trip to store would only cost $25 plus $5 or less for gas. More, stores don't understand the process, so you rarely get what you order. No room here for the rest. Orders delayed DAYS. Unless you make 3-4x the cost of what you are getting, even with annual subscription, you can easily do better by getting delivery directly. By no means worth it.

BYER BEWARE!!! By the time they add on their so-called fees it's about 20 extra dollars 🤬 service fee, delivery fee, and if you want your delivery person to get a decent tip!! Priority fee as well! I thought I would forgo priority and get my order a few hrs later but instead they push it to the next day! These people are beyond deceptive! Stop supporting people from other countries doing business in America!

I have been using Instacart for a couple of years. Overall, I do like the service. However, it would probably be helpful if either the chat had an automatic language translation feature or customers could mark what languages they speak so that shoppers can effectively communicate. It's very frustrating to receive poor replacements and/or have zero communication bc of a language barrier.

It's a scam. They delivered me the wrong product. The driver was super nice, told me to use the help button on app. I got charged $649.42 for the wrong item. The item delivered retails at $79.99. Driver said it's instacarts policy to not give the customer the receipt (very suspicious). After submitting numerous complaints (most went unanswered) I decided to go to Klarna and put a stop payment. Now Klarna is awaiting a response after over a week of waiting. Classic bait and switch. Don't use.

Customer of 5+ years here:: I don't understand why it's an option to have delivery windows for an extra expense when its never delivered in the window you pay an extra $10 for. If you can't perform a service don't offer it. I used to love this service, but it's a disappointment every order anymore. I'm chill about the random replacements but arriving late when you paid for rush is paying for a service that doesn't exist. I'm removing the app from my phone and reporting this to the feds.
