I love this program, but the app constantly has errors. I downloaded all the main lessons and only about half play. I get a constant "has encountered error" from multiple different lessons. if you do too much, then it crashes. It's unfortunate the app is so janky since the programs are useful for beginners.

The lesson format is not good for learning: - In the first 15 minutes, about 12 minutes is spent on the hosts bantering with words you have not learned. - For the vocabulary review, they do not put the words in a sentence for you to speak and learn. - The hosts and dialogues speak too fast to follow. - There is no reinforcement learning (words do not reappear in later lessons). - No practical usage of most of the vocabulary - Each lesson's grammar point are simple, but embedded in 95% new words.

I think I've tried every language learning app for my target language ( Japanese ) this was the only platform that had everything I was looking for, flash cards, dialogue practice, worksheets, study books, language teachers, and ways to compare your pronunciation to native speakers. The one caveat is that not all the features are in the app. You do need to use your browser to get things like flash cards and dialogue role play. However I love my experience.

Review of: VietnamesePod101. Mediocre. Lots of material, but many obvious flaws: 1. Inadequate sound quality for pronunciations 2. The same voice was used for both parties in a conversation, which is confusing 3. Practice phrases are too long 4. Too-long phrases are repeated slowly, which doesn't help 5. Half of the reviews are in the wrong order: Vietnamese first 6. The app cannot automatically continue where you left off 7. No response from multiple inquiries to their email 8. The music...

App is missing features from the website. You cannot use a Google login to this app. I already had a paid Google account for the Vietnamese course on the website. I had to change my account password just to log in. Also, this app does not have the entirety of the vocab features from the website, just the word bank. It's missing the flashcards and word lists with the incredibly useful audio slideshows that just loop vocab words and example sentences. Just stick to the mobile site for now.

Too much teaching w/o explanations. For example: mèi and bù both mean 'no' but the app doesn't explain the difference and when to use them. Same with the word 'thanks'. 3 different translations w/o explanation. There's a few others but I'm only at the beginning level....so far not the best experience. Not all of the vocabulary comes with pinyin or English translations so you have to make your own "labels". Hopefully these questions will get answered. If so, I will change my rating to 5 star.

Best Spanish language learning app I've tried. Much more like the experience of language school, with a conventional format, lots of explanation of grammar and different phrasings in different locations, lots cultural info, etc. Very engaging. Mostly listening based, so easy to use while doing chores or driving, etc. Two thumbs up!

I am so happy with this app! It gives you direction with a learning path and also gives you flexibility to add other learning paths on things of interest, such as culture, business, grammar, exams, etc. It is bite size pieces that you can retain, while also explaining the sound/grammar. I felt confused with other programs and this makes me feel like I am going to know Japanese when we ultimately move there for work. I also really enjoy it and look forward to doing it.

The app has many great resources for a new beginner to use while learning Arabic. I am excited to continue to learn while using the Innovative Language app. The explanations provide context which makes it easier to remember key words. Each explanation is helpful, and the vocab flash cards are great if a student wants to learn faster. This app is great for language learners! Thank you for all the good work put into making content for the app, and the gui is very well developed. Thanks again!

When i toggle between languages when reading the line by line dialog, it always jumps back to the top. This is frustrating when there are three (3) tabs to toggle (in Korean), and I lose my place anytime I am studying one of them and want to just briefly check that line in the other translation. Maintaining the scrolling position would make it so much easier.
