To have normal progress on weakly events (less than 50% of rewords), you need to pay a subscription around £10. Geme devs actively adding updates to slow progression even more (like block heroes for a couple of rounds in only team activity TREASURE HUNT) with options to pay ofcours 😉 New events are added before being finished (progression balance with skill is wrong, names are glitch out and assets like pictures aren't loding so you see white squares). That's my feedback. Hope it helped.

Update: decreased the rating to 4 stars due to the following - allied culture events are boring are require a lot of micro management while they reset after just 5 days - the concept of the world fair event was a joke. The rewards were ok but this was the only positive thing - I don't particularly enjoy games with ads. Ok, they are not mandatory but I am sure there are better ways to monetize the game. Raid does not have ads and many other great titles don't too.

This is really fun... For about 3 days. Then it turns into a waiting game. You wait for things to build, research, expand, etc so you can level up your heroes. I wouldn't mind spending a little bit but there are barely any bundles available and they're mostly trash unless you just want to buy pure gems. Play this game if you like to spend about 5 minutes every 4 hrs to do some minimal tasks then turn off. I guess that could be good for some players.
