2024-08-18 | Boats Forever (Boats4Ever) | def one of the best games I've played on mobile. simple but complex. doesn't overload/over heat my phone like other games, is engaging without be mindless clicking, decent sound track, and clear "instructions" that define how the game logic works. it's not without flaws, but in terms of "I need a simple game to kill some time" this is def going to be a keeper for me.
2024-04-02 | Swerving Lemon | Fiddly controls, frequent crashes. Placing objects is a frustrating exercise as the buildings snap past obstacles. This wouldn't be a problem but the camera follows the object so placing things precisely is a pain. Often, while trying to place, a condition will happen where it will attempt to snap past an obstacle, encounter another obstacle, then hang and force close. It's a shame, really, because it's a fun twist on Mini Metro.
2023-10-16 | Mark | No ads! Fun gameplay, though clunky UI and fuzzy instructions. Tutorial and instructions give basics but not clearly. I've played probably 20+ rounds and am still not sure of the mechanics of the network, building upgrades and bottlenecks. Understanding the game has become it's own fun puzzle. Biggest issue is the click and drag for new buildings. You have to move around obstacles and it's very awkward.
2023-09-10 | Samuel Everett (sjeinak) | Fun game but like other games from this developer, the level difficulty scales too quickly and the game makes itself arbitrarily hard by throwing impossible amounts of stuff at you. Not only does every map feel basically the same, but in the late game, it's easy to lose 10 packages without even seeing where you lost them. Delivering hundreds per day, something you'll have to do to get past later maps, means those 10 go fast. Decent for grinding on a flight, but nothing more.
2023-04-12 | Chris Wood | Other than these two things i really liked this game. One huge gripe is that when you are placing a building the touch the screen in the direction you want to go only works for the first few buildings. After that it's a maddening experience. Simple arrows or slower movement or anything would help tremendously. Also, as the difficulty increases, it seems artificialy advanced by having one color block suddenly flood the screen after previously random colors.
2023-03-29 | Ben Kent | pretty good! The game is very satisfying. My only complaint, and it's not a huge one, but I wish there was some sort of running stats for achievements. for example: when you are doing the missions, there is nothing that tells you when you've achieved the goal. you just play until you eventually lose 10 packages. that is not very satisfying. you are only playing until you inevitably lose... There is no way to actually succeed.
2023-02-26 | Brayden McArthur | Great potential but there are a few quirks. First, the camera movement when placing objects is awful. You'll try to place an object and want to move just a tad to the side - BAM the camera jerks you across the map. Also, the tutorial was a bit vague. I don't really understand the point of the game, beyond placing objects. There's one that the tutorial referred to as a station, but it's labeled as a house and looks like a house. I really want to love this game 😢
2023-01-14 | Jesse | Great art style and concept, but I have no clue what the heck I'm supposed to do, what any of the buildings do or why I should choose/value one over the other, or really what progression in the game feels like. The placing of the structures is so loose and wonky that I'm never able to put the structures where I want them and I end up jumping all over the map bc of this issue. Bug: I resumed a level without any capability to interact with the game, so I had to start it over. Sorry 😐
2022-12-30 | Tony Hernandez | This is a really fun game. Simple and challenging. -1star because the game crashes after 20mins or two of playing. Very irritating. -1 star for the snapping of the buildings. There is no guidance on where the buildings can be placed and the snapping will move crazy fast around the map even when I try to move just a bit. It's very annoying. There is only 11 levels? Overall even with the guidance there is still more info missing. Like what upgrades do for what lines etc.. still needs work.
2022-12-19 | Burkeley Pippert | I want to like this game, supply chain and automation sims are some of my favorite game genres, but this is just frustrating. Nothing explains what objects are/do, or HOW you're expected to meet objectives. I think I figured it out, but if I did then it's horribly unbalanced. And if I'm wrong then my years of playing strategy games have failed me because I can't figure this one out. Either way there's no setting to keep the camera from leaving town whenever you try to place an object. |
