2024-04-28 | Matthew Teeters | Unplayable. Unable to get into the story, or its tenuous connection to the finger tracing "puzzles", to see if its worth my time as ads interrupt any attempt at immersion. Given the developer's unsympathetic response to similar feedback literally telling them players can't get into the game because of their ad structure, I don't see a reason to pay on the off chance I might enjoy the game later - I don't support developers with so little respect for their customers.
2024-01-15 | Ola- B | Graphics and sound are nice, the game is easy to the point that it's boring, and the ads are overbearing right off the bat - you never really get the chance to get sucked into the atmosphere since game fragments are short and the ads cut into the mood and are loud, flashy and distracting. This game did not make me want to buy it. Also, perhaps not so much something against this specific game, but the line games are getting boring, and this company seems to specialize in them.
2023-10-07 | Evan Tess Murray | It's a well designed game, very pretty, nice gameplay. Unfortunately the ads are very loud, relatively frequent, and can't be muted. Some can't be skipped. I don't mind that games are ad supported, but I'm listening to an audiobook while I play, and frequent very loud ads I can't silence ruined the experience for me. If you like it enough to pay for it, it won't be an issue, and it's a pleasant, soothing, well-designed game.
2023-09-19 | A W (LoadSaveDelete) | so far this game is both visually appealing and engaging with the puzzles and story line. I recommend giving it a go! Update: so changed to 5 ⭐, not only because the Devs asked nicely, but because of the ongoing puzzles, lately I have been playing this when I need to unwind after work or relax before bed. They are challenging and non-repetitive. Can't help but love this game!
2023-09-07 | Briana Bell | It's cool. From the music to the design and color scheme, it's very relaxing. Just started, so it seems easy, but it also seems to get more complicated every level. I'm excited for the new challenges to come. I thought the puzzles went with the story, but it doesn't seem to.. but I still love the puzzles, so it's still a plus.
2023-08-28 | Hannah Bray | This is a pay-to-play game, just so you know, although nowhere does it say so in the description. To start there are charming adventures where you advance the story by solving the puzzles, some of which are hard, and you gain fireflies, and message fragments, and memories which pull you along. Then there's a point where you need to pony up $6.95 for this to continue. If you don't, it's just endless not-very-challenging puzzles for only the reward of solving them, which is mostly dull.
2023-08-03 | Junhui Lin | Hate ads, bought pro. More stories please. Expedition mode very buggy, sometimes double level skip and forced game reset. Sound off but when restart game, sound is on for some reason. New summer event extremely buggy. Had to very quickly open and close the letter or else it keeps saying it is "new". Also I complete exploration levels in under 30 seconds. Found out how to get lost memories by pure coincidence when I just waited for a few minutes, way too long and buggy. Tried to save, didn't work.
2023-07-31 | Regen Quinn | Graphics are well done, hepatic feedback is a nice touch, haven't checked settings to see if I can turn it and the music/sound effects off. Music/sound effects are minimal and not annoying. So far puzzles have progressed in difficulty at a steady pace (it doesn't start off easy and then all of a sudden becomes impossible like some games). The tutorial is straight forward and game play is fairly intuitive. Hopefully the devs don't ruin it with how they choose to include ads if/when that happens
2023-07-12 | Boogley | The puzzles are fun. The game won't save any of my progress or unlock memories even though I'm getting all the fireflies in the levels. Also, restarted the app and it skipped ahead a bunch of levels I haven't done yet and skipped a lot of the story.
2023-07-03 | Midtownish | Great game! I love puzzle games, but I'm not a big fan of narrative dialogue. Although this game does have dialogue in the story format (and I understand why - it does add to its charm!), you can tap through it and get to the next puzzle. There's also a mode where it's just one puzzle after the next with increasing difficulty. The ambient sounds of forest critters compliment the theme and storyline and make this game more relaxing than it would be otherwise, and once again, is very charming. |
