| 2024-11-30 |  | | When I first purchased my very first Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone, I must admit that I was extremely disappointed and aggravated with it. Everything was fine for a few days, and then i began receiving a bunch of pop-up ads. About every 30 seconds, another ad would pop up, and that went on 24/7. I couldn't manage to do anything on my phone. I went to my carrier, and they factory reset it. The problem was still there for a while until I subscribed to Adblockers. I haven't had any issues since. |

I'm frequently being solicated for payments, as popups on this adblocker browser, for this browser. Months later and this problem has only gotten worse-the november update is TERRIBLE. Userface is even uglier- every time there is something new this app gets worse. I've used this bowser for nearly six years and this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back |

It seems that with every "update" they create extra steps to access content or erase a control in settings that helps the user deal with an annoying feature. The latest: A "Pop-up blocked -- SHOW" message that appears when I attempt to click the comments section beneath a news article. I used to be able to prevent this message in settings but can't find that control now. If you have Adblocker and it's working for you, avoid updating if you can. |
| 2024-11-14 |  | | This app worked pretty well in the beginning, but now there's a ton of ads. This app is literally advertised as an 'Adblocker', so there shouldn't even be any ads on there. Also, I can't even access the videos I have downloaded on there anymore. It just completely kicks me out. This app is starting to go down hill very fast. Please fix these issues! |

As other reviews have pointed out, they will recommend you a site when you type into the search bar, which is an intended feature to monetize the use of this app. I get it, it's a free app that needs some kind of revenue for upkeep. What I don't like is how whoever is responding to these reviews is implying otherwise. For these reasons, I'll soon be uninstalling this app and getting a regular adblocker for my preferred browser. |
| 2024-11-08 |  | | Just started usung . so far the only issues i dont like are the permissions required to use the app. The things the app claims to take care of seems to protect you and permissions required to use this app maybe worth it. Will either increase stars or down grade depending on how it works and if it can block add based ads. Also it should improve the search results by blocking unrelated search results |
| 2024-10-19 |  | | MUCH BETTER: MOZILLA FIREFOX with an ad blocker plugin: non-profit, FOSS (Free and Open Source Software), completely Free of Cost, there is an option to create an account and have all info backed up, there is a parallel desktop browser to have all synced with. This one: works well, including YouTube and YouTube Music ads, but: - No optional account, backup or sync with no desktop browser. - Free users swayed towards the paid version, which is also the neverending subscription business model. |

I love being able to surf the web without ads popping everywhere and distracting me. Plus repetitive targeted ads are the worst, which is why I want to stay away here, away from Chrome. And yes, I get it. Ads do have a necessary function and we all deserve to make money. But Chrome is way too much. |

It does block ads not all ads like if you go on a comic website some things may pop up but compared to a normal browser it like... AMAZING it also very good at not tracking you like Google or other browser I use it alot for reading stuff for free and based off what I seen it perfect for blocking ads with every touch. Definitely recommend mainly to comic/ manga enthusiast who use free reading sites. 5/5 though yt wise not made for |
| 2024-10-12 |  | | 05/2021- Does not stop all ads. Been getting pop up ads going through. Please fix. 11/2022- I agree with everyone else regarding the self insert ads. You are slowly making them more intrusive with every new update. That's not cool. What I came here for though is that after updating it, the app now hangs frozen for some seconds before unfrezzing itself. YouTube breaks because of this. 06/2024- Ads are starting to pop up again on sites.. 10/2024-.. my above statement continues to be true.. |
