| 2024-12-05 |  | | Having used this app for 2 years for my mobile banking, without any pre warning hsbc revised the app and directed me to install a new app. This app now will not install on my phone and I have no way to access my hsbc accounts. The only option is to purchase a new phone. I think this ignorant action from the bank is highly unsatisfactory. |

The new mobile app remained the same useless app as the old one was with extremely limited functionality. The big thing is that one can log in with a newly generated PIN or with biometrics instead of the stone age Secure Key gadget. It says that loggin in to inernet banking is also possible now with the mobile app ,hich I haven't tested yet. Mobile apps of other banks are light years ahead. |

They have stopped all customers debit cards working and frozen thousands of accounts. Check their reviews out HSBC EXPAT on trustpilot / other places online. Get your money out and do not open an account. |
