2023-08-18 | Terry Hughes | Just too much to set up. There was no setup flow or guide, or popups to help, just a long confusing menu of options. So I uninstalled 5 mins after installing, safe in the knowledge that I would never be able to set this app up in a million years!
2022-10-20 | Andy OHara | Unreliable. The setup is a nightmare, especially if you're a novice. The notifications are hit and miss, and often come 10 minutes or more after you've gotten the email and read it. So I bought the paid version next, thinking it would be better and it wasn't. The company doesn't answer emails. Go to Gmail, instead, which has an easy to set up notification system that works smoothly and quickly.
2021-11-28 | Mi C | The 'Alerts Enable' on/off button has a malfunction. It doesn't change what you want. It only change when you logoff the app. Need fixing.
2021-04-25 | Sandra Watt | This is really a great application however I needed very real-time alerts even when my phone is not active, and it seems this is impossible because the app uses a background service. If you don't need absolutely real-time alerts this app is probably the best in terms of features and flexibility.
2020-11-11 | Kelly Carter | By far the best email notification app out there. I have been using this for a few years and have never had any problems. If you have a old yahoo email address you will need to generate a personal password for this to continue to work. I learned the hard way and missed a important email. Other than that I highly recommend this app!!!
2020-07-09 | Michael Nguyen | I apologize. This App is my life saver. It warns me within minutes (when connected to internet unfortunately) all my filtered emails. There's no similar App like this anywhere so far. You're the best.
2020-06-23 | Richard Geslot | Unable to override silent. This is missing what I'm looking for. A real alert app should Always emit the sound... otherwise what's the point of installing a dedicated Alert App ? Edit: following the developer's answer I raised my rate for good communication. But I didn't check if override is actually working now.
2020-05-15 | Marshall Moorhead | Followed all instructions, I'm synced up with my gmail account and have set up various alerts, however, no matter what I do the app never actually initiates an alert. I created an alert for when I send myself an email and still no alert is ever triggered by eNotify. I've spent an hour on this buggy app with zero results. Using it on Samsung Note 9.
2020-04-23 | A Google user | When trying to set up my Gmail account it worked the first time. Then I got an email from Google notifying about a dangerous app and then blocked it. Now I get the "Authentication Failed" error and it no longer works. It looks interesting and I really need an app like that, so it'd be good to know if there's any solution for this.
2020-01-17 | A Google user | I have found this a most useful app since installing it 2 years ago. It has worked exactly as required. A recent update to Google meant it became unusable until I followed another reviewer's advice and set up 2-step verification for my Google account, then requested a password from Google for eNotify to access my Gmail. So far it has been working perfectly again. It is quite simple to do .. see eNotify FAQ section under "Cannot login to GMail" Thanks for great app, developer! |
