The app is amazing. Of course it's not perfect, like the continue navigation if you don't stop at the exact location provided by the GPS, also doesn't take into account connecting roads to make trips shorter and less fuel, and the crashing is really awful. But I love it, especially it works perfectly with voice command in Android Auto and you have offline maps!

Several annoying features. There's a loud beep that occurs every time you hit or exceed the speed limit. The voice-over is very artificial sounding and cuts in only after the first syllable of each word which is somewhat jarring. The directions are fine but it hardly makes for safe driving if I have to silence the app to avoid these annoyances

I installed this on a tablet just to see how well it works. I was happy with it and looking forward to using it instead of Sygic. I went to install it on my Atoto S8 nav system and WeGo crashes constantly. 90% of the time it crashes before it even fully starts up. I updated the Atoto and still have the same issue. Tried all the tricks to fix this, no luck. If it would work on the Atoto, I would be a happy camper. Update: increasing one star for the fact the developers responded!

Latest update includes a notification of things like stop signs and windy roads that, as far as I can see is not something you can turn off. I you enjoy non-value add annoying notifications, this app is for you. If you're a good driver you could just open your eyes and see the stop sign, windy road, sharp turn, etc. The notification interrupts your Spotify, audio books, etc. Most annoying feature they could have implemented.

Here WeGo is a great app from my first impression since I've started to use it. The best way to describe it is like Google Maps revamped to have a nicer UI and a bit more features. ** update ** This app is okish for the most part after using it. Everything is there and the only big issues I have with the app is the guided navigation not saying what highway sign to be under or near nor the voice assistant telling you other than just saying to go left or right on the highway.

After using this app for several months, I now rate the app MUCH more highly than I did originally. The functioality of the app is excellent. Its advantages over my old Garmin GPS slightly outweigh its disadvantages - AFTER I was FINALLY able to discover all the features, and how to use them - often by experimentation to figure out how to accomplish something. The documentation could use improvement, which is why I rate it only 4 stars instead of 5.

When connected to Android Auto the app does not work. For navigation, If I didn't already know where I wanted to go I would not be able to use this app for navigation. The user interface is not always clear on what is next. For example, on my commute I need to take an interstate through town. This navigation makes it seem that I need to exit sooner than directed. I'll get a distance count down to stay on the interstate. The 2D map is not helpful because the scale is too small. Same with the 3d.

Used this back in my Windows Phone days. Figured it would be more advanced by now. Not consistent. Sometimes it will notify of railroad crossings and other times not. Same road, different day. Like that it will avoid dirt roads for motorcycle navigation. Would like ability to increase font and image size on maps, since they don't get larger when zooming.

It's taken 3 years but they've finally made the new redesign work better than the old version from 2021. Love the "visual references" voice setting for things like "turn right at the traffic light". Also love that it can speak out street names even if it's a different language. That said, the volume of the audio isn't stable for some reason. Sometimes quieter, sometimes louder. Also, small bug, if offline is not enabled and the phone loses internet connection, routing never loads.

Great app aside from the awful routing and occasional hang! I've been a long-time user and really like the features, but I can routinely save 20% or more over the suggest router's time via such wild ideas as "take the highway" or "take the direct route". (Yes, I allow all routes and preference is set to shortest time.) Even leaving aside the times where it tries to send me down a closed road, it's just incredibly stupid routing. The occasional freeze/hang (while driving!) is also awful.
