8/17: If your goal this year was to make the app more inefficient, you've succeeded. App no longer refreshes (an issue since 2023) and still flags I have unread messages when they've been read. Latest stupidity (11/12/24) - a pop up about events where the button below the "see what's new" button is cut off at the bottom of my screen - can't see what it is, and there's no way to get rid of the pop up to check my messages. Closing app does not resolve the issue, so now I can't use the app...again.

The notifications are glitchy on my phone, with group chats and direct messages. I'll open a chat to see that I've missed messages from days ago. And sometimes I'll read messages, exit the chat, and it will still say that the messages are unread. I have an Android phone. Edit: today I missed a message in a work group chat, I was mentioned (@) in the message and I still didn't get a notification. This is ridiculous.

Update 9\24. So after the most recent update I am unable to send messages. I have my phone settings in an opposite manner due to my handedness accessibility so it appears that this creates an issue with this particular app in that no send button appears on my main screen when attempting to send a message I just typed up. It's really an awesome substitute for people who don't want the hassle of a social media page, but communicate with multiple people at the same time.
