When I was looking to convert my tablet running ChromeOS into a digital photo frame, the suggestions and HOWTOs were focused on using cloud-based storage for the photo source. Instead, I wanted to use the tablet's local storage. This app has proven perfect at doing one thing very well: randomize and display photos from a dedicated folder stored on the tablet as a slideshow, minus any ad-encrusted cruft. Thank you for making this!
Great work! A couple of things I'd like to see are, allowing android to use it as the lock screen screensaver, a shuffle option and a full screen option to hide navigation buttons. It's the best screensaver app I've found so far though :)
Great app! Works well with photos and video. exactly what I was looking for when I turned an old tablet into a digital picture frame. Didn't want my photos in the cloud hogging up wifi bandwith Please add: random slides Zoom and pan transitions
