| 2024-12-08 |  | | Latest update causes it to crash immediately. Completely unusable. Reinstalled several times. Crashes just after log in and accepting agreement. Crazy. It was flawless for years. Never realized how much I depended on it! I read the re-release comments and keep hoping for a fix each week. I'd be completely satisfied with a rollback. |
| 2024-12-06 |  | | Was great... for a while. The app worked great until a couple of weeks ago when something was changed with an update. Now, it resets my garage door opener every time it's used. Not ideal. On top of that, the app no longer works on my wife's Pixel2, continuously crashing. Attempts at getting some help have gone unanswered, so I'm stuck with an app that upsets my wife and the opener itself. Bummer, but that's the way these things go, I guess. |
| 2024-08-31 |  | | Update: Like the march 2024 update, the recent August update killed notifications. Left here to notify of bug. Original: User since 2019. Did not want to spend extra on home link and did not want to pay subscription fees. The kit was easy to install and the open on arrival is very nice! I did turn off auto close since I like to watch the door close before I take off. I would love to have a lockdown mode, especially during vacations. |

Recent update broke push notifications (we get none) in addition to auto open/close for both my wife and I's Android phones. Whenever I close door from tailwind app an error pops up with "tailwind has experienced a bug". Both of our phones are less than a year old and all functionality was perfect before the most recent update. |

Un-installed then reinstalled. Auto open and close now work but still no notifications. 2/28/2024 - auto open stopped working again. Not sure what caused it to stop. Nothing has been changed. After the update today (2/29) the notifications are working again. Haven't tried auto open and close since this update. |
| 2024-02-24 |  | | Loved it right up until about 3 days ago when they updated it and now notifications don't work and it crashes all the time. Email reply was quick but generic, reboot phone, clear catch, reinstall blah blah. I literally watched it update then it started crashing but ok I'll redo everything they asked me to do... again. Didn't work, emailed back. Response, we will send it to our team to resolve. Haven't heard a word since and it's dead. Looks like I need to find a more reliable product :( |

My Samsung S21 has to be set to no power saving in order to keep the app awake after screen shuts off or phone is locked. Would really like to see this app integrated with Android Auto. Then garage door operation would be available from the car touch screen without having to fiddle with auto-open/close or the phone. |

I have both MyQ and Tailwind for 2 locations, and the Tailwind has way more usable features. I like the Tailwind features like Bluetooth connected devices can auto open my garage when within a certain distance. Everything is customizable like distance to open and close, night guard mode to ensure the garage door closes between certain hours. |

For not having a recurring fee, I find tailwind to be the best bang for the buck. I will be installing this on our third garage door soon. |

We have a side pull out menu, a touch pull out menu in the corner and I have to dig for settings and forget where they are hidden. The wigit barely works, shows correct door status or responds to touch the first time. The close beeping warning delay is annoying and should be optional. Sometimes loses internet connection but only briefly until I refresh the screen. Despite this works as intended usually. |
