2024-11-30 | Robert Widener | A lot of these reviews don't make any sense it's like people don't take the time to learn howntonuse anything anymore This app works great Low/No stuttering AV1 encoding Adapts windows to touch screen options Can change between monitors Has keyboard shortcut buttons Supports stylus on the s24 ultra Great app after over a year of use across 2 phones Don't trust the lower rated reviews. They didn't take the time to learn the app
2024-11-19 | The Ruby Captain | In working condition once again! Sleek UI. And... faster than ever? Lower latency than before. Overall, if anyone is looking into this app again like I have, it might be in working order for you as well, so give it a whirl. Otherwise, try to see if you can find an older version online. (Note: Third Party Online APKs are a risk, make sure you know what you're doing! My suggestion is just a suggestion. Do your own research. ❤)
2024-11-09 | Robert Palmer | Honestly not sure why this has so many bad reviews, as for your options, this has been the best by a long stretch. If anyone can recommend something better, please let me know. But the ease of use and connective property as well as customizing connection format to best fit either compression or quality, so far is unbeat to me. I have been using it for years and some updates haven't changed it by much, there is still improvement that could be had but it's just by far the best. Hadn't paid a dime.
2024-10-12 | Simon Ehrlich | Absolutely garbage with the latest changes. The mobile experience is absolutely useless now. Where is the button to switch screens on my multi monitor computer that I'm remoting into. Google, constantly taking things that work and changing them for the worse for what, to fill some sort of prone t quota and keep jobs secure? Its the only thing that makes sense.
2024-08-31 | Albert Kilger (berto1014) | Used to work good before it became a web app. Now I'm not even sure how this has any utility at all other than looking at the other screen. All touches don't move the mouse but register as clicks like it's a touchscreen. If your taskbar is hidden, this app is totally unusable. Just revert to the functionality from about 2019-2020.
2024-07-06 | Chase Robinson | The update used to look like the pictures advertised. Now it forces itself to use chrome as a web browser and it's the same exact feeling as going through a web browser. Due to this, keyboard is 10000x worse, screens are worse, it is slower. It also added extra steps to get to the remote desktop, you used to open the app, click the desktop and you got there. Now it takes longer to load, and added multiple more steps to get to your pc. It's horrible
2024-06-12 | Neil | New version is awful, electing to use some sort of internal keyboard mechanism versus being able to use a phone's gboard. While this interface looks great on a tablet, it does not work on a phone and one size does not fit all for remote access. This version took a step backwards and the previous version no longer functions correctly.
2024-01-09 | Wayne Hiebert | Love this to be able to log in on my computer before I get home from work. I use this app almost daily before the update. With this latest update, it has destroyed the UI. It looks like it is from my computer. I hate it. Should be simple and easy enough to handle. Even Microsoft Remote Desktop does a better job handling this. It doesn't require the use of 'Chrome' for it, nor does the UI not work. I have had the UI bug out 3 times in the last hour while trying to access one of my devices.
2023-10-25 | Matt H | Latest update is awful. Very disappointed. Please bring back the last version. It is riddled with problems. Here's just one example of the many problems.... if you try to "fit to screen", it'll rotate the layout of your computer, which forces you to fix the computer's display settings when you get back to the actual computer. With the computer ending up sideways, it's a huge pain just to use the mouse to get the settings so you can fix it. God help you if you don't already know how to do.
2023-10-20 | Geirrod Torkelson | Whatever you guys did made the app completely unusable. No that's not an exaggeration. I LITERALLY can't use it at all anymore. Whenever I try to open the app, everything spazes out flickering between the app and some browser. Then it crashes without ever opening. I used to love this app and use it all the time. It was nice being able to connect to my desktop while laying on my bed. Devs, google, if you care about this app AT ALL then you seriously need to revert it back to a previous version. |
