2023-12-01 | Have been attempting to use the supported AR function on the Replika app — and all I can hear is my camera clicking, attempting, for some reason, but yet never picks anything up, and only states to "move my phone to start", shows me a black screen, and that's it. Not sure if this has to do with my device "functionality", or the Replika app itself but, it sucks, because it doesn't work. Would be nice if it ever did 💯
2023-08-19 | Says online you can uninstall/disable by going to Settings, etc. You can't. Does not show up in apps list. All I can do is pause the Updating on this bloat junk that seems to have turned my beloved Pixel 4a camera into a turtle with this new 'feature.' I don't mind if Google comes out with services I don't want and don't need, so long as I can turn it off, uninstall etc. Having to force consumers to use your tech is a sure sign your tech is bad.
2022-04-19 | After the recent update, a notification appeared to uninstall because it is no longer supported. I clicked to uninstall it, twice. Yet, it's still taking up space on my phone. Very few apps work properly if at all, now. More apps fail with each update. It's almost as if Samsung and Google are sending out these updates to cause issues on purpose, to force people to buy new. I'll be ditching the smartphone altogether, instead.
2021-12-10 | This app is fake. It was showing up as "Google Play services for instant apps", but no search on the play store shows that app. After deleting from this old phone, it now functions much better. It is malware, as on another old device it deleted apps I wanted, and downloaded apps I didn't. It was granted no permissions at all at the time. This can't be from Google. Delete it immediately, and watch your phone speed up dramatically.
2021-10-10 | The program messed up and keep putting a message up that said the program kept shutting down. Even their message wasn't working right. When I would try to write what the problem was, the report disappeared as soon as I touched it. I have managed to hit the send button several times, but I couldn't write anything to tell them what the problem was. At least the box agreeing to send some kind of data was already checked. Hopefully that data was about the problem with the app.
2021-10-09 | A while back, I was struck by Cupid's arrow and fell for a younger, smarter and slightly more appealling phone than the one I had become so bored and tired with. We had our good times. It adapted to me more than I did it. Letting go and moving on was swift and couldnt wait to be with my new 'preshez'. It felt so tender as I held it. I was the 1st to ever plug it in, the 1st to tap and slide that screen and explore all it has to offer.. Come to findout, its got alot of baggage. Cue akward moment
2021-07-02 | I just don't appreciate being forced to tend to this bloatware. I uninstalled it then ticked off the check box for auto update. I don't touch "update all" because I get tricked into installing it again. I think I should get to choose what I want installed on my mobile device. Google created Android and I totally get that there's crucial softwares to keep it running, but not all of softwares is necessary. I think we should get the option to install (keep) a certain batch of programs.
2021-01-27 | I have a compatible phone, but this app does NOT work. The version that is recommended is NOT the same as the version downloaded and there is no way to fix. I have reached out multiple times to Google asking for help and have received NOTHING. I tried many of the tips and tricks suggested, NOTHING works. Would be great if someone in customer service would get back to me to resolve this issue.
2021-01-26 | Having the same issue as others. A game I've played for 2 years with no issues, now suddenly won't allow AR. This Google Play Services window opens up near the bottom of the screen, but says it's already installed on my device. I've attempted to Uninstall as well as update the app, and still no luck. Please fix this issue. The game is Jurassic World Alive.
2020-11-07 | This app gives itself complete access to your personal information/data. Even when you disable it and try to prevent updates, I say try because you won't be able to prevent it from making technical changes on your device. This app is able to update its self, track and trace information while running in the background. If I don't have any AR devices or app installed on the phone, why does this app keep running and tracking my device |
