2024-11-25 | Roger | Still one of my faves. Need to fix the screens aspect ratio though for Samsung devices. Other than that, strong and vibrant hues of color make movie watching a treat for the eyes! Unless, it's steampunk, no one likes subdued, sepia-looking colors.
2024-11-24 | Jeremy Boyd | It used to be a really good app, easy to navigate. Over the course of a few years it has gone down hill. I don't get access to my TV shows like I used to and it harder to access the next episode. When you try to go to the next season it draws a blank. You could buy a season and wait for the next episode and now you have to purchase episodes one at a time. I may still purchase a movie, but no longer I will purchase tv show seasons. If anything I get better deals on fandango at home.
2024-11-19 | Fer Go | Why won't Google TV let mu purchase any more TV series or episodes? It has been like this for a little over a year now. Every time I click on the NCIS tab, it gives me an error message. It says I should clear the cache or restart the app. I've done all that and even manufacturer reset my phone. Error message still shows. I want to be able to purchase the new seasons or old seasons from other TV series. Please help. Thank you.
2024-11-16 | Leah Cockcroft | Very Very Unhappy! Movie I purchased from Google Play Store years ago, "DOA Dead On Arrival", which could play from my YouTube account Library has disappeared & now only appears in my Google TV on phone. App will no longer let me scroll up & down, only let's me scroll right and left. So I can't even search through my own movies unless I type in the title one by one. This app is connected to our MoviesAnywere but that doesn't seem to share correctly with Google TV as well. Last update problem??
2024-10-31 | Ed G | This app has become very unstable. The remote control stops working after 1 or 2 minutes. Will no longer work until restarted. It's enraging when navigating & suddenly the app disappears from my phone screen & I'm clicking on absolutely nothing like a complete idiot. THAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF. I wouldn't make such a big deal out of it if Google TV wasn't the app that best connects to Android devices. However, it is completely useless if it continues malfunctioning and disappearing at will.
2024-10-29 | Chela Jernigan | I use this app for all my favorite films and tv shows. However, recently, it's been continually crashing. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and cleared my cache numerous times. My phone keeps saying the app has a bug. It's incredibly frustrating when Ive purchased so many things and can't watch them. Hopefully this will be addressed soon?!
2024-10-13 | Jeff Gillette | Too expensive for the available streaming apps & live TV... I mean c'mon a WiFi monthly service bill is cheaper than this Google TV app. Now maybe if you incorporate some perks into a bundle package including Wi-Fi and Security surveillance setup. Now that would be awesome. It would also let your customers know that you actually have them in your best interest first and foremost. Thanks! 👍🏻
2024-10-12 | Christian Perez | I've purchased streaming rights (via Google) for many movies. I had to cast my current movie from my phone to watch it on my TV (couldn't use Chromecast remote). I paused the TV, then, I spent 20 minutes trying to press play and arrived here.. The error message says, specifically, that I cannot play it on my Chromecast device, but it was already playing.. I could have been nearly half-way through the movie by now. Consider this a cautionary tale against purchasing streaming rights from Google.
2024-10-04 | Matthew Spaccarelli | I have been back and forth with Google support about the dumbest issue. When I use the Google TV app it suggests that I watch certain programs. Some of the programs it suggests it says are on Showtime. Showtime doesn't exist anymore. Paramount plus has taken over the Showtime content. When I click on one of those programs it takes me to the Showtime app which doesn't exist anymore. Fix it! Google. I suggest you clear your cache or do a factory reset on your servers. I have spent hours on this.
2024-09-28 | Lili Aguirrebarrena | Update 9/28/24: The app is now working good again. Thank you Google for fixing it! I kept using this a bunch of times to buy my favorite shows and movies but now, there is a bug that keeps crashing it. I keep clearing my cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app and my phone keeps saying there is a bug. Please fix this ASAP!!! |
