2024-11-24 | Penny Manning | Nov 24, 2024: . . . . Gboard, on my Moto G Play 2023, sometimes changes words (such as 'that' and 'this') by splitting them into two other words with a space btwn. Hard to explain. Autocorrect, Predictive Typing & word suggestions--all that-- are off, but Gboard still acts weird. Deleting cache hasn't helped. When Caps On arrow is selected, the comma and 'a' keep getting typed by mistake because letters are too close together or misaligned. Gboard on this phone is an absolute typing hassle.
2024-11-24 | EDWARD GOLLISH | I been with T MOBILE for 21 years of course SAMSUNG was also part of all. I was having issues a lot. When they said there's a update me and many ppl did it, but always a issue, nothing real bad just a pain. Yes update is to keep cell running in a good way. WE had our choice to update or not. Then we lost our personal ways. Now you have no say, so it was like saying they r in total control. So was glad to make the change best thing on phones I did. Thanks đź‘Ť GOOGLE
2024-11-23 | JV Ashe | Used to be a great keyboard. But all of a sudden, it is terrible. This is on my galaxy fold. It's fine when folded on the small keyboard, but when unfolded and using the split keyboard, the auto correct is so bad. I have to manually change almost every word that I type. I will type it correctly and then when hitting space, the keyboard changes it to nonsense.
2024-11-23 | Mister Cats | Gboard is, & remains, my preferred default keyboard. The reason I have reduced 4 stars to 3 was that Google's spell check too often misspells rather than corrects. Although it no longer has emojies, it is still a vast improvement over Android Galaxy's installed keyboard. I thoroughly enjoy Gboard's slide text feature, but it changes Spanish words to English. I hope for improved functionality & fixes to Google spell check to be found under "What's new”. Thank you, Honorable Developers!
2024-11-23 | Raymond Powers | Before the current update, this app was 5 stars-Incredible/Perfect and so amazingly helpful. I used this as my default on everyone and as an expat, it was one tool I couldn't live without. After the update? Negative 10 stars. The keyboard size was reduced with no way to revert it, the keysize is impossible for folks with bigger hands to use. The voice to text feature is now unusable, no matter what anyone does. The search function was broken. And none of the settings save. Plz fix this!!
2024-11-22 | Samuel Santaella | On November 10, 2024, Google finally gave a legitimate "What's New" description besides an old one they've been regurgitating for months on end. I'm happy to do this update, now that I see what I'm getting with it. I have a few wishlist items, but it has always been an excellent keyboard for me. It's fast, actually learns the weird words I use, and suggests them to me in the future so I delete and retype less. It even lets me tell it to stop suggesting words (drag it into a pop-up trash can).
2024-11-22 | Andrew Hunter | GBoard is my least favorite input keyboard app, because it tries to take over and do it's own thing, even when I have told it not to do certain things. App updates make it worse. And beyond that, I am not a fan of the information harvesting which is assumedly taking place. The background data for this app is unacceptable, to be blunt. It shouldn't be sending that much back home to Google... Very suspicious, considering that I don't use my new phone very much, compared to my last Motorola phone
2024-11-19 | Barbara Vaughan | I've had Gboard since I've been using a touchscreen cell phone, couldn't even say how many years ago. But it is the best one out there, I haven't had any issues with it until just now. The issue started as I was typing and the word predict kept asking me to delete the word, but I never clicked on the word, and when I tried to get it to back up where I could type some more it kept freezing up and would not apply what I was trying to get it to do. Please fix this!!!!! I love this app.
2024-11-17 | Rob A | I love this keyboard. I have a suggestion for an improvement. There should be an easier way to enter plurals (of nouns) and conjugations (of verbs). For example, if I type in "ea", the suggested completions at the top might include the word "eat". If I were to then long press "eat", a list of variants could be presented, e.g. "eaten", "eating", "eats", "eater", and so on. Perhaps "ate" should also be listed even though it does not begin with "ea".
2024-11-15 | Kaleb Corrigan | It's nice, memorized it pretty well. Got pretty good with it. Although, I'd like if you could like. Change the buttons on the keyboard, and make them do whatever. Especially how the send button was changed to the tab or drop next to the line button. It threw me off pretty hard. I'd prefer if I could change that back to just the send button or whatever. |
