| 2023-01-17 |  | | Google has decided to remove some of the most basic functions of a digital calculator rendering this thing nearly useless unless all you want to do is add/subtract two numbers and that's it. The memory store/memory add/memory recall functions are gone. No way to do longer calculations with intermediate steps. These have been included on digital calculators SINCE THEY WERE INVENTED. What is WRONG with you Google?!?!?! Fix this! |
| 2022-11-05 |  | | Did not like the last update. I'm 67 and have eye condition's the prevented me from seeing the screen color combinations well. I would uninstall the update and the next time I used it it was updated again. Very frustrating. Asked if there was any way around that, of course no response. I understand updates can be helpful to some but not to all. I come from the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" generation. I use other calculators when needed. |
| 2021-12-02 |  | | The new update is why I'm here. I use the calculator so much it's one of the most frequent used apps on my phone and the last update is driving me away from it. The UI is completely different and less intuitive. Maybe it's just because it'll take getting used to the new layout, but it matched most calculators I've used before. Now I find myself hunting for the back and clear keys. Additionally, it added heptic feedback on key presses, this feature alone is a deal breaker as you CAN'T DISABLE IT. |
| 2021-11-10 |  | | I agree the new update ruined it. A design Change they believe is better aestheticly? Fine. Upon seeing (before using)the visuals neither cause a positive or negative reaction. However, it's navigating and issue, being quite difficult now(even taking into consideration that it takes time adjusting to change). Taking away calculator components required to work as one is a VERY big issue. Most annoying? No practical way to clear. No button, special tapping. Just hold, select all, back button. |
| 2021-11-01 |  | | Terrible update! I loved having the running total so I can change my formula or continuously add other variables, this very quickly went from the best to the word design possible. Please go back to the old version. Also enjoyed having the press and hold delete button to erase the whole formula. This update was trash. Just go back to the old version so we can go back to our lives lol |
| 2021-10-30 |  | | I loved the app before the latest update to it, it was simple, effective, and easy on the eyes, this new update has been an overall downgrade from before in my opinion, it's harder to access history, clear/delete numbers, along with being more visually distracting. There should at least be a way to set it back to the old UI interface. Untill it's reverted or toggleable 1/5 |

The app's layout and functionality was better before this, and previous updates had been great (decimals and fractions displaying, for instance). If the new layout could be made as OPTIONAL (or even just an option/selection to revert to the previous if the new one is the default), this app would go back to having a much better rating. |
| 2021-10-28 |  | | The calculator now calculates the answer without hitting equals. I don't understand why A.) You couldn't make it a skin and B.) Put in an actual option toggle to allow auto-calculate. The app has been standarized for years now and now a random change? Come on now. Do you not have more pressing matters to worry about than the calculator? I get it; there's some fixes and an easier to read visual appearance, but for crying out loud. |

This is completely an aesthetics and an opinion but I find the calculator difficult to look at and use because of this. I did just uninstall the updates and have turned off auto update and will continue to use the app. But if the developer's could just remove the large buttons that would be better. Thanks! |
| 2021-10-26 |  | | Why change features of app.? New format is awful! Cant see all numbers as you are entering calculation formular. It was very beneficial to enter numbers with formula and also see the results (total) as you continue with calculation. Should NOT have to press enter to see results. More accuracy if you can see on going total as you enter more numbers. Please change it back!!! to original version. It suited everone's néeds. If not, I hope I can find a more user friendly calcular app. |
