| 2024-12-01 |  | | I love the fact that I can hear unlimited music, but, I hate that it picks low audio quality of the songs, fan videos with very bad audio quality or covers made by people I don't even know. Other thing I don't like is, that I start with a very happy mood song and it always turns to ballads, or if I start listening to salsa it suddenly turns to regueton (which I hate). |

Why would a music app stop every 20 minutes and ask you if you are still watching. Tried premium so I wouldnt have to keep my phone open. It stopped every 3 songs, no warning, no message, just stopped. Save your time and get a better app. |

There's always a huge list of songs it has queued without asking, and adding to the queue adds it after all those. You can choose "play next" but if you do that more than once it doesn't work. It pops up messages over buttons you want to press. The back button works in a weird way. It's really easy to try to swipe something out of the way and accidentally skip a song. You're constantly fighting it. It's such a mess. |

Many adults enjoy music and personally would like mine unedited without creating exact playlists of every song. App itself is pretty straightforward and while minor things change that annoy me at times the functionality has always been there when I use it. Not much else to say really, if you have premium then it should be a solid experience. |

When I connect to my car's receiver via bluetooth YouTube music does not update what's playing on my car's stereo screen when I skip a song before it switches on its own. INSANLY frustrating. It only changes what's playing on screen when the song finishes and moves on naturally. None of my other apps have this issue. WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED??? |

The one thing that irks me though there are quite a few podcasts that are difficult to find and/or unavailable for various reasons. Also, here lately podcasts have begun rewinding themselves. Thought I was goin a little crazy at first, but it has happened several times. Certain parts will play, then minutes later it will go back and play again. |
| 2024-11-26 |  | | Worked really good for a few months. Then suddenly stopped. I mistakenly thought an update would help. Audio became badly distorted, screeching, after update. Audio is the only purpose of this app. It's unusable now. So bad that I cancelled my subscription the same day. Just as well. Playlist was getting stale anyway. Other music apps are uneffected. Very dissatisfied. would not recommend. I'd give it zero stars if i could. |
| 2024-11-26 |  | | YT Music is basically just Spotify but better. It has the same exact features, with a more familiar UI and appearance, making it more easy to use, especially for Android users. The ads can be intrusive, sure, but that's the real only downside to the free version of the app. No stupid limited skips, random songs playing, etc, like Spotify. To add on top of that, you can get YouTube Premium including YT Music with no ads and extra features for just a bit more monthly than Spotify Premium. |

But they keep experimenting with different home page layouts and now it's so bad that I have absolutely nothing that I would listen to on my home page, plus all of the quick access tiles and speed dial options are just gone. I have to leave the home page to find anything useful. It's arguably one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a music app. It's like a completely generic, manufactured "personal experience" and not an actual curated list. |
| 2024-11-25 |  | | Premium features haven't worked for over 6 months. I can play a maximum 3 songs before it starts spinning. I can't play music and switch to another app. It seems to work fine without premium features. I still get commercials on regular YouTube. I paid premium a year ago and all of these features worked perfectly. I really want to go back to CDs, so at least once I pay for something it works. Never again. What a rip off. Kills a party vibe. Kills a work vibe. I want a refund. Don't waste ur time. |
