2024-11-24 | Eric Doise | No longer works. When I hit the "continue" button to pay online, nothing happens. Contactless pay no longer works. I'm on Google Fi and own a pixel, so one way or another, this is one Google. Might be time to switch to a different service and phone Update: 4 months later, still not working. I never get updates from the people who "are working on it" (a lie, I assume). Definitely switching to Samsung when I get a new phone. I never had a problem with Google Pay
2024-11-21 | John Hancock | The app is simple to use. The visuals are clear and easy to identify between. Overall good app, easy to use and accessible and quick when it's needed. A dark mode would be a good idea for it. It also has a great feature for adding store card into the wallet. I've also never been worried about any security on it. As I've never had an issue with it's functionality to date. Great user experience!
2024-11-20 | Steven Wang | wrong merchant names! ! ! ! ! ! no search. no swipe for next item. soooo bare! only show transaction on phone and not credit card. no indicator of nfc issues, so u have to turn nfc on off manually. they finally have a working transaction history with the right time stamp. nice that there added location on map but wrong merchants! future features; 1: importing receipt to include itemized items. 2: tagging items (gas, food, present for...)
2024-11-19 | Amy-Rose Rodgers-Polson | Handy enough app. Able to see any loyalty cards I have and movie tickets. Only problem is some times it acts up when paying. A common message is I've moved the phone too fast when I haven't, so I've to close the app and try again. Other times it'll be fine then up pops "verify it's you" so I've to do that then pay, little annoying. Other times it doesn't do anything, though this may be an issue with the card machine than the app.
2024-11-17 | Sophia Becker | I haven't been able to use the app in months because it gets stuck on the landing page with the button to "view wallet" but it never actually let's me view my cards anymore. Update: I tried all the troubleshooting steps (uninstalling, updating, restarting my phone, etc.) And I still can't use the app.
2024-11-16 | Charles B. Sewell II | I have used this app for awhile know and it's very inconsistent. In settings there was an option to verify if it's you for transit and for your card. Now it's missing. Also this an app that holds Credit cards, Debit cards, Driver's License and many other important cards. So where is the security for the app. If the phone is locked then you have to use the biometric authentication. But if it's unlocked already why doesnt wallet lock the app behind one? Atleast give the option. Make it more secure
2024-11-13 | J B.Z. (Pand3m1x) | Useless, totally useless. I'm so frustrated because I had to switch back to my old phone (NFC) because I started traveling Asia. A lot of shops and restaurants like to use Google Pay/QR codes to accept pay. Like people are pushing for cashless. Well you can't use Google wallet like Google Pay. So I have cards and money I can't access because not all places have tap option available. I really don't understand why they discontinued Pay in the US and didn't add it to wallet.
2024-11-11 | Mark Haythornthwaite | Edit- I didn't say I want to end authentication, I want to authenticate when I open the app... Requiring verification upon opening the app is a simpler task than the latest version requiring extra steps to use tap to pay. I don't want to have to tap a small "Verify it's you" link after opening it, instead authenticate immediately (thumbprint, PIN whatever). What idiot thought that was an improvement to the user experience?
2024-11-11 | N R | This app is total garbage. It doesn't work on my watch, declining all payments. Doesn't work on the phone either, declining all payments. I have tons of money in my accounts. Use this app if you want to be embarrassed in front of your friends. I'll just stick with using a plastic card and avoid this unnecessary "upgrade."
2024-11-08 | Anne P | Fixed by someone at ticket sales This app requires sms access permission. Keeping the 1 star for the lack of response to a problem multiple people were having. Problem began with refusal to let me access my downloaded tickets. Then it stopped opening at all. Went through rec'd cache clearing & restart procedures. Still won't open. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Still won't open. Turns out a bunch of people are having this problem. Fix this! Days later, still won't open. Useless. |
