| 2024-11-21 |  | | Google can't even design software that works with their own Google pixel 7A phones. This Android assistant is a nightmare. I can no longer use the speak button in my car. I can't even use the talk button on the bar at the bottom of the phone. I have to push the power button in to dial a number in my car which means I have to manipulate my cell phone. This never used to happen until the other day when Google did some kind of upgrade using their dei employees. |

But you cannot filter search results by date range like you can with regular Google --- e.g., "last year" or "last 24 hours". This is a HUGE negative. Also you cannot turn off Discover Mode so 90% of your home screen is links to junk news. It is visually distracting. They should just have the search field in the middle of a white blank screen, with nothing else to distract your eyes. |

I can't imagine that'd be a difficult thing to program since every other Google app can do it. Considering there are multiple people requesting it, and have been since 2022, it's clear they're simply choosing to ignore these requests. |

I can search websites and videos, it's just the image tab not working. I mostly search images and words on this so having images not work is disappointing. I see others are having the same issues. |

No results, just, "There are no results for ____. Check the spelling or try a different keyword." I double-checked before writing this review, I used multiple one word searches. It literally couldn't even give me results for, "cat". I cleared the cache, cleared data, restarted my phone, nothing is working. |
| 2024-05-11 |  | | Pretty good app, a few problems, though. For one, I keep seeing this weird Google Translate "review" thing pop up on websites, and it totally breaks them. Secondly, some website pages are not fully shown, in other words, they're zoomed in and I can't zoom out to the size it's supposed to be. I reccomend adding a zoom in slider or something to help. |

However, the problem that I've been facing is that the app always starts in discovery mode, and there's no way to revisit the dashboard homepage, unless I clear the app data and start over. This is a major problem that I've seen a lot of people in the review section been facing. Also, many sites/apps are now allowing dark mode functionality, but this app is yet to do so and needs to catch up. |

What you have here is an app that connects to all Google services and performs like Chrome, becoming the end-all-be-all in apps! Problems I did find is when I search or navigate to a website it tends to open up multiple windows for each thing. Also it opens on the Explorer page like the Google app instead of opening on it's own navigation layout like you first see when download it. |
| 2022-11-25 |  | | It's also been recently permanently stuck on the "Discover" page for me too & also removed completely from the bottom menu is the "Add To Homescreen" (or whatever it said) button/option! I was confused thinking it was an intentional deliberate change to the app until I just saw here another user's review mentioning the same issue. Searching for this problem or a fix or anything about it at all turned up no relevant results either. I don't know what's going on but I'll send feedback in app too ♡☮ |
