| 2024-11-28 |  | | For Files by Google, I suggest enabling the Search option for each folder and subfolder to make it easier for the user to search for the desired file. Like the search option in the My Files app on Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Also, change the name of the app to Google Files, which is more understandable than Files by Google. Good luck. |

From photos, to documents saved from my email, and even to find unnecessary items taking up space that I can delete, I absolutely LOVE this app and use it daily. Thank you Google!!! | 2024-11-21 |  | | Runs exceptionally slow when trying to use it. Listening to an audio file? Trying to make the audio louder with the volume button? Woah there buddy that's too much input. Then crashes the app because I am trying to quickly raise the volume. This thing runs like something from the 80's not 2024. Wish I could rate lower cause I would. Wish this app was never used as the base files app for my brand and model of phone, RAR is 110% better. |
| 2024-11-19 |  | | Lost all of my screen shots and half of my pictures after the last update , I don't want to go to Google drive to find in the cloud a photo that belongs to me to access as I want this is to much control. Update Developer contacted me I followed the instructions and everything is fine now. Thanks 👍 |

I've been using the Google file manager for over a decade now and never had a single problem with the App. I would, personally from my experience recommend it to all, everybody and anybody. Download it now and you're going to be satisfied with it! Ease your mind and get your files and folders organized. And even does the SD card Format as well! Great App.💯👌 |
| 2024-11-16 |  | | I do like this better, less glitches and such yet, it doesn't separate my files into its own category when I open the app. Screenshots are mixed in with pictures on the slidly thing yet, the old version didn't have this issue. I do love this app but it's hard for me to use when I'm making videos or just trying to find the right picture of a family member. I will be open to emails and screenshots if needed |

I'm trying to listen to music in the background, but Everytime I leave the file app about a minute, the background music would immediately turn off about a minute which is absolutely annoying as hell. I tried to clear cache many times but that doesn't do jack. It still keeps stopping, and another issue is that when I renamed My music the music is completely gone and nowhere to be found, just disappeared. |

I love this app and recommend it to all my friends who need a storage app. Google isnalso the most trusted brand online so I didn't think twice to go ahead and use this to store my storage. |
| 2024-11-06 |  | | Permanently deleted files from safe folder so if you store anything important it can be deleted if uninstalled.(Then why is it labeled the safe folder? That is the opposite of safe! It should stay encrypted or be open not deleted) 3 years later, hopefully this has changed. I lost a lot of precious files a while ago and the response here was terrible... |

Simply select the file and then select what you need to do with it takes no time and no effort. The app will perform a scan, which informs you of duplicate files, files that are large, and apps that you don't use, which will all eat up your storage. Sending or receiving files is simple too! Keep your phone clean and do task all with just a click of a button. |
