| 2024-11-30 |  | | MMS isn't working, I can receive the videos but they won't play as well as the same thing for voice messages. I can send videos and voice messages and pictures no problem but I cannot receive them. I know that it is a problem with the app because my Samsung messages works with getting mms and I have checked to make sure MMS is turned on |
| 2024-11-30 |  | | My biggest gripe is that my messages no longer appear in a pop up at the top of my screen when the screen is on. I have tried every setting I can think of to fix this and nothing works. all my notifications are enabled. Have to pull down notifications to see i got a text. edit: After uninstalling and reinstalling, it is working fine again. to reiterate, there were NO device settings that caused this. |
| 2024-11-30 |  | | I love this app except for a few things. I wish that we could copy and paste text messages and forward audio messages from one contact to another. Also, I keep getting an error saying "playback failed" when I record an audio message. Sometimes it takes 4-5 tries before it doesn't fail and actually sends. If the error can be fixed, then I would definitely rate 5 stars. |
| 2024-11-30 |  | | lousy app. anything would be better than this. deleted the other person's part of the conversation for me, no way to recover. cannot change notification settings. when trying to fix that, no longer verify my phone for rcs messages.. worthless edit: to developers: i tried the troubleshooting and visiting bla bla bla... that's e what made it worse! thanks |
| 2024-11-30 |  | | I started to transfer over, and it's horrible! Takes forever to load, and when I go to specific chats I want to keep, some just the last text. I LOVED the custom colors and bubbles of Message+. Such a shame. Seems it's better going to my phone's built in texts. Works better. Still not the same though. I've had Message+ for as long as I can remember, and loved it. Not happy!! Was a great app. |

Please Google look at the messaging app that Verizon had and mirror it. This is not good!!! I was able to pin to the top the people I most frequently text. Set specific ringtone so I know who was texting me specifically. Set scheduled messages,etc. We're about to be in 2025 and this is sub par. |

While there's some plusses and minuses to both, the most glaring and important (to me) is the fact that the search function here is horrendous. I was searching for a message from a few days back by a specific word said. Nothing popped up except for 2 entries a few years ago. The word was used in far more messages than that. Messages+ never had that issue, and it was quick and accurate. I'm disappointed, I expected better. |
| 2024-11-29 |  | | I like some things and hate most of it. I like the audio transcriptions. If someone sends you and audio clip via text, google messages will transcribe it to you. I like that it sends video files a tiny bit better. I LOVE the spam blockjng. I hate how the emojis look. They're awful. I hate that I hit send, and then my message is still sitting in the text box, I hit send again, and find out the message has been sent twice. The search feature is alright. In general, I don't like it. |
| 2024-11-28 |  | | Forced to switch, not happy. Verizon messenger was fantastic, but they not longer support it so I was forced to switch to Google message. It doesn't send or receive texts consistently. I can't customize the background or bubble colors based on my contacts. I constantly have to find a how-to to learn how to do basic things that should be easier to find; like muting a conversation. There is much to be desired in this app. |

This one doesn't allow me to put a different notification sound for messages and system notification s. That kind of sucks. I'm sure it's the app. Same phone i had when I decided to switch, and that option went away. I'm pretty sure it's not the phone. |
