| 2024-11-30 |  | | Most annoying map. Can't locate state borders. Map flips around. Can't figure out distance to a certain location. Won't let you just pinpoint a location. Won't let you change your route without having to wait for "rerouting".. And so much more. Deleted! |

When you were walking the arrow pointed down and they kept trying to make you use live view. Google Go fixed almost everything. Now it's trying to link up with Google maps which I cannot take off my phone and so it's not working anymore. It used to fix the problem now its broken |
| 2024-09-09 |  | | Don't get me wrong, I am still gonna be a diehard fan of Google map with a 3 star, but just cause you love something doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws. I hate the new app; it exists gps direction if another app is opened. For exam if someone call you, even on blue tooth mode or if you in picture in picture mode too long or if I press the home button on my phone. Gps not too reliable as it tells you to turn exactly when turn is up without pre notification that turn is coming sometimes. |

It lacks information, it's delayed in loading, even with a solid connection. I'm looking for a different map app now. Continues to fail to load information. Fix it already!!! Continues to fail not loading properly or not at all. Still failing to load trip information. It takes too long to let ad information, and there is missing and ineffective information. USELESS |
| 2024-07-18 |  | | Not bad, works for the minimal functionality on previewing routes but doesn't give turn by turn navigation, and does not let me update my lists in the full Maps app. It feels like this is needed with the full Maps app in order to be able to explore places while the new Maps does the navigation or vice versa. Either way, the full Maps place should let me explore the map while it's navigating or this Go version should give me access to modify the lists from my Google account. It feels incomplete. |

What genius tech company requires 2 apps to send you on a route? Only the super advertising agents at Google need multiple apps to do one thing. Also, the drop down turn by turn has been on Waze and Apple maps for over 10 years! Happy belated good job Google! Drop down requires my touch to stay readable WOW! |
| 2024-01-18 |  | | The worst thing is getting to your saved places, I should be able to click on destination where you type, and have a drop down menu that opens saved places, instead I have to navigate the main menu. Then if you want to save a place you can't figure out how, because there's no simple button for it like there should be. I recommend transit app over this |

It always makes it easier to choose the best route after I get informed of the options available to take. If I detour while traveling the app automatically lets me know which way I need to go to get back on my chosen route. Super cool to be able to access it offline if I don't have a good cell phone service due to being unable to be close to a signal tower. |
| 2023-04-25 |  | | Very much in need of improvement. Not sure why Google is introducing this web-based version of their Maps app, but it is nowhere close to Google Maps. The application launches from web links into a browser but it calculates distances and destinations incorrectly. It is the antithesis of Google maps in being user-friendly. It's what Google maps would have been had it been around in 1999. I will be uninstalling it ASAP so it stops launching in place of the real Google Maps. |
| 2023-03-08 |  | | Insane, unnecessary, long crazy routes. Took me in such a roundabout manner, added 30 minutes for a typically 30 minute drive, so took over an hour. Tried to do same for another straight-forward trip, takes 10-15 min trip. Maps wanted me to go all the way up the freeway, turn around, come back this way, that way, for a ride usually straight from the grocery store. Very undependable, won't use again! |
