2024-12-02 | K Rose | In our current technological status, this app is superior to others. I enjoy app blocking/approving and screen time restrictions most. Tracking is an unfortunate miss. It takes far too long in the event of an emergency to update location and I have received erroneous check-ins (i.e. delayed by 10 hours, not at all for weeks) for over a year and just stopped relying on them. This has caused some arguments, like when my child "gets to dad's" at 4:30 am but had been home since 9 pm. Please fix.
2024-12-02 | Dragonfly Sparrow | Sometimes it gives error message... I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to show up properly. I do like the map feature because it allows parents to add "safe spaces", and you can label them "Grandma's House" or "School", or lable it thwir Friends house, etc. HOWEVER: It takes about 10 minutes to notify you that the child has left your house. If this were more of an immediate notification, I would give it 5 stars.
2024-12-02 | Carlos Lora | one of the best apps for managing family and the kids. my kids lose the phones often, I am find them with sound and also control apps they use. It has really been a great tool for us. The location settings are easy to use. I can see when they leave school and places I set for them to be during certain hours. 5 stars from me.
2024-12-02 | Ken | When you want to remove a device it is a pain. You have to unlink everything and then you can remove it and then have to set everything up again. Also you can not designate different lengths of screen time for different devices. Program is lacking in many features but for a free app what can you expect.
2024-12-02 | Leeah | I think with technology changing right now there's still a lot of room for improvement and integration between different applications and products. I have been trying to parental control my children's to tablets for almost a year now. It's a little confusing on YouTube and tell it's a part of Google services but their privacy policy differs. No matter how many times I apply parental controls when I go back into my TV or their tablet it's screwed up or something is not integrated .
2024-12-01 | Autumn Kokke | This app, while it does a decent job, it counts off screen when on apps that are on the setting "always on," apps such as calling, texting, and contacts. I believe this is unfair, considering children need to be able to contact parents. If a child wants to save screen time, they might resort to not responding to texts or call. This app also constantly give the wrong screen time count. Sometimes it just locks down my kids phone and when I try to unlock it, it doesn't work
2024-12-01 | Parker Lee | My parents use family link and it is a wonderful experience... well, for them. Anyway, the app has no problems whatsoever from my phone or my parents phone. I don't even have a new or even newer phone either. Also, If you're having trouble, either send feedback and hope they get back to you, or read their "About Supervision" texts. They are a little long, but it's worth it. I'm not the one using the app, I'm getting the app used on me tho so it might be different for the people who are using it.
2024-11-30 | Robert Balmer | On two separate occasions installing this app on my child's phone caused them to lose the ability to connect to data, despite that NOT being one of the restrictions we set. Removing parental controls and uninstalling the app did not fix the problem. They forever after could not connect to data and had to get a new phone b/c the issue was unfixable. Do NOT use this app. I would give 0 stars if possible. This app has cost me the price of two phones.
2024-11-29 | C Miller | I'd love this app more if I can remotely go into the device and select apps instead of having to physically have the device with me. Not to mention that denying something doesn't stay denied. We'll have a request war, and it doesn't stop, which is really inconvenient. I also have a huge issue that I cannot moderate their Youtube. There is no way to block content creators and delete certian videos from appearing. It's really fustrating!
2024-11-27 | Eli Rueda-Vega | it doesn't work as well as it should. not easy to use. We should be be able to lock or ring the phone from the same screen. It's it very intuitive in his to ring it. We should be able to allow apps, even in down time. Such as call and text. We should be able to remote uninstall apps. We can only disable some store apps. What about 3rd party? Be able to extend time limit per app for one time only. It asks the kid if they can remove family link, instead of the parent. |
