This app is not research at all, it's unpaid google product testing. If you want to be in actual studies go to research match. Beware: I entered the Google sleep study and all I got was a ”$25" voucher for a cup with the google logo! I didn't even bother to redeem it. This isn't science, it's unpaid product testing. The researchers refused to respond to my problems. Not ever getting to see my data in the study was the final insult. Don't use! This should be investigated as a scam.

I tried signing up for this app on my phone, and never was successful. They use a calendar app to allow you to select your birthdate. Since I am 77 years old, I needed to scroll through 924 months to enter my birthdate in 1947. I thought I had succeeded once, only to find that the app timed out before I could even get registered.

Totally worthless app. I joined sign consent, and then I got messages saying I have joined. Then, I get messages that I am not signed up. Ask for help, and it says there are no help topics for your issue. Google is so darn stupid these days but used to be very intelligent and useful. Not any more. They hired a bunch of spoiled brats right out of high school. Some are even dropouts. This is confirmed facts. No more google for me, I'm going off the Google grid.

Since the most recent update, after opening the app is just blank. No history of studies completed (current or completed) nor data from studies completed. I had done the metabolic study and cannot get my test results to show anymore.

I would be happy to share my data and participate in expanding the scientific capabilities of my fitbit, but this app has a problem where it won't let me choose an option during questionaires. I push on the rectangular choices and nothing happens. Not every time, but enough to be annoying and discourage me from participating.

I've done everything except the app permissions. I have did everything and it has permission to whatever I see and it still sitting in the need completing. Idk what else it needs permission to access or what else to do to get rid of it from the to do list

Upd: I don't understand if my researcher gets my data. I don't see any data reports which I was expected to see in a special page. And there is nothing about it in FAQ. => I reached out for support and support answered that I will see my data after the end of the reasearch. I think to mention that fact in an app would be really benefitial for participants and google to eliminate questions and improve participation.

I prefer the convenience of accessing databased things from multiple devices especially being able to use the web interface of my computer. If you access Google Health Studies from a different device, your google credentials are not recognized and it is like signing up from scratch..

Changelog for an app update cites that it's the initial release. Major pet peeve that developers put all this work into apps and then can't be bothered to tell their users about that work. App doesn't send me notifications to fill out questionnaires at the times it promises it would. It also doesn't send me any notifications of available studies to participate in, and then I can just see studies whose enrollment periods have passed. Also doesn't show completed surveys in the survey history.

I'm in favor of passive data being used for science, but at least one study involved staring at the screen for 10 minutes a day and clicking after seeing a red dot. Ick. Uninstalled
