Google Drive is a very convenient app for those who are looking for a storage app to keep their valuable files and other content. I have been using Google Drive since they first produced and debuted this app, and that's why I gave Google Drive a 5 star rating and review. It seems as though Google has read and heard our requests and fixed Google Drive for the best. This app is simple to use, they have simplified the features, and they gave everyone an assistant to help you, download this app 🔥💯

I couldn't get ANY phone (4) to upload a file through this app. I've tried since 2018 and succeeded once. Scrolling is slow and stuttering. Large documents don't play nice. Comments cause freezes of 1/4 second when entering frame. Multiple consecutive comments in a row halt your scrolling. Difficult to find the sections you could snap to with the web version. Generally just better on your phone's browser. Canned, Automatic replies to give illusion it's user error, not 6 yrs of bad code.

Drive's internal media player will play some m4a files, but not others. This would be fine if the app could be configured to use an external media player (like VLC) by default for certain file types, but no such option is available. The files open just fine in other media players; Drive is just special.

This app (including every single Google made app) has declined significantly every single year. This app is unusable at this point. The interface is a disaster and the process themselves don't work. You CANNOT convert a text document to PDF. It's simply not possible to do correctly. I've spent 5 hours on FORMATTING simply to make one PDF. I'm better off going to a post office, hand writing my letter and having it scanned to my email.

Once u have no bytes, u r out of luck. U can't open your stored data. Yet if u dont arrange your settings, a lot of your data will b gobbled up by GMAIL. U can't do a thing; it's as if u are cornered to BUY MORE storage. So back up your data and be ready in case ur data is completely eliminated. Question? If i cancel my current storage plan, does this mean I can't use Google Photos at all? If so, then immediately eliminate the app, but CAUTION backup backup backup!!!

I can tell you that Gdrive is satisfactory if all you are doing is backing up to it. Try to pull the data! It's multistep, and that's not easy. You are limited on how much bandwidth you can use. No more than 60MB/sec to pull data down - save it - and then move it to storage on your own. They (Google) have made it so hard to do anything as they want you to continue to buy storage. Don't. Buy your own storage and edit your photographs and video's - keep what's most important.

Cannot upload anything no matter what connection I use. Wifi, mobile, it doesn't matter what settings I change, a 1gb file shouldn't start go halfway and then suddenly stop and look for a network while I'm already connected, and take longer than what 10 minutes? It's been over an hour. Why am I paying for this again if it doesn't work when I need it to?

Unfunctional, and always has been. The app has never once, for the past 5 years, allowed me to directly upload a file to it. I always, and I really do mean always, have to open drive in my mobile browser, set it to Desktop mode, and upload the files from there. The app has never once allowed me to upload a file; it gets stuck in the "uploading .." phase with the spinning circle, never gives me a time estimate, never gives me a percentage, etc. Even for 1kb files; it won't upload anything.

The app is a great one, overall, but there's one improvement that could be made. You could kindly add the "seek" feature for audio files to allow for easy navigation when listening to audio on the drive. If I need to rewind to re-listen to a specific part of the audio piece, I have to start from the beginning and it's always stressful 😔 Please help with that.

Google Drive Upload is either 12-star quick, or less than zero sluggish, frozen. This happens most often when WeNote is syncing with Drive, but happens when no other Phone RAM is being used. I PAY for extra Drive space, & have excellent Wifi. I do clear Cache, etc. When I go to my Drive space, it's an unholy mess, difficult to organize. I'm sick of how Google apps have gone downhill the last couple of years.
