It also lists some other information about my phone, the operating system version, the battery capacity, and the number of cycles on the battery. It would be helpful if the app explained what those numbers mean to someone who is trying to figure out whether they are using the best charger and cable for their phone. |

The main screen displays vital albeit basic information for any user that's interested in knowing how well your device is charging/discharging. There's some information on battery health but the values are vague and it takes quite a bit of time for the app to measure accurately. However, Ampere did provide me with the data necessary to troubleshoot a very frustrating charging issue on one of my devices so I am grateful for that. |

A few suggestions for improvement: 1. Add a current vs. time chart; 2. Optimize font size and placement in the widget; 3. Make widget colors adjustable with the Nova Launcher, for example, since the widget colors (orange on white) do not correspond to what the various widget icons indicate. Still, a useful little app! |

From the looks of the paid options, there are a lot of diagnostic notifications that you can set up, if that's your thing. I'm not a super electronics guru so I've decided to stay with the free version. I highly recommend. |

Great to have on my car dashboard and I can see how fast it's charging, That's one of the reasons I bought it as by default, it is cluttered with numerous scrolling ads Just a great little utility app. EDIT upgraded to Android 10, it no longer registers 'FULL' despite their guidance to clear data/cache, it just annoys me now when battery full, and it keeps showing a charging state! Love them to sort it! |

My phone can fast charge at 9V, but when using a USBC charger which outputs 5V3A and 9V3A, I would like to know which voltage the phone selected. Not terribly important, but sometimes more information is nice. Thanks for the great app! |

I've tried many others during this time yet I always seem to shed the others, but not this one. sure their could be a couple of improvements what app is perfect? this app is solid and consistent, and over the years I've checked it with a couple different multi-meaters and found it to be simply accurate on most phones. (sorry about the typo I could not justify back spacing to correct the spelling when you know what I'm saying) so download and enjoy it's simplicity. |
| 2021-09-06 |  | | Thank you so much staff at Ampere! Ampere is the only app I utilize when having a challenge with a cell phone battery. In the last 90 days, my cell phone battery encountered challenges. The first encounter was no charge whatsoever. The second encounter was somewhat of a dual type condition with battery symptoms of extreme slow charge while docked, and cell phone not holding the charge at all while in use. Both times, I downloaded Ampere and the challenges were positively resolved. Thank you |

I was a little skeptical cuz I wasn't sure what went involved with all of this and the development of the app. but once I started plugging it in looking at the car chargers looking at the charger at the house everything worked out phenomenally. I immediately purchased the pro version just to get rid of the ad and support the developer. Well done!!!!!! |
| 2019-12-23 |  | | I like this program because it showed me that even with the same phone and charger the cable connecting to two can be the issue in your phone's charge time. I have one wire that only allows half the charger's power to the phone. It also let's you compair different chargers (if you use the same cable). It also shows the power used when not charging. The downside is that it doesn't register power changes unless it is on top with the screen on, or differences when I try power conservation tips. |
