2024-11-26 | Ginger Webb | I like the the app, however there needs to be a couple things changed. "Degree Required" should be a drop down option in the filter There needs to be a better way to access jobs that fit you well. I always have to dig through them. Please streamline and make the important stuff easier to access. Less social media, more jobs
2024-11-13 | Sadie Dewey | Honestly, I installed tried and un-installed within 10 minutes. When I search for a job I'd like to look in or close to the town I live in. Yet when I try to pick the location filter there isn't even an option for anywhere in Illinois which is where I'm looking. I'll just use indeed as it has proven easier than this.
2024-10-08 | Steven Tebrink | Cant even get through the setup. When I get to the "areas you work in" part, there's no option to let me skip or select none. I'm unemployed and have no experience in any of the categories they offer. How does one look for a job when youre required to select an option that doesn't apply to you? Terrible app. If they ever fix it, awesome, but until then that's just stupid.
2024-07-10 | DJ | I like Glassdoor this app is the best when applying for jobs. I feel like it's so limitless and I get a overrall better feel for it, I like seeing nearly 20,000 jobs being listed in my location. I feel the refresh rate and jobs are posted more on here then Indeed, I like Indeed for the ability to write resumes but I like this app much better! But I do wish they would fix the error where if I try to verify it's "something went wrong. Please try again later." It could use some minor improvements!
2024-07-09 | Bob Herman | This app has been broken for over a year now. I've worked with support and they refuse to improve it. My job preference is in my city and I choose 'no' for remote jobs and most of what I get are remote jobs and out of town jobs. I only want to see local jobs! There is no filter or category search so you have to hope your search term matches a posting. Plus, not everything can be done in the app, you have to update your profile on the website. Use Indeed instead.
2024-02-09 | Andrew Poisson | Terrible user experience. When trying to filter the Salary or Company information, you can't enter two things at the same time and have it used. The job categories function also doesn't work. It resets itself when navigating to another page of results. Want to upload your resume to your profile? Too bad, use the desktop version for that. I can't tell if Glassdoor intentionally underinvests in this app or if Android just gets the short end of the stick. Either way, major updates are needed.
2023-12-09 | Nina Nguyen | Company pages are stuck in loading state for all tabs. Update to v10.12.1 did not solve the issue. Had to resort to web instead (Edit: it ended up loading after a minute. Unacceptable latency). Also, this happens on both web and mobile: marking a review as "helpful" only reflects green in the UI during the current session. When you return, it looks as though you never did so. When you re-mark as helpful, an error states "Sorry, you can only vote once for this item". This has persisted for months
2023-09-29 | Nick | This new visual overhaul is one of the worst I've ever seen. The app used to be buggy in the old style (slow, often wouldn't load or searches wouldn't work), but fixing just that would've made for a perfect app. The new visual overhaul comes with terrible readibility on both a local (adjacent fonts are way too similar and not delineated) and global (adjacent posts and listings are very hard to differentiate from each other) scale. I don't rate apps, but Glassdoor sucks right now
2023-05-05 | Sara Chapman | The intention of the service is good, and the desktop site is a great resource, but the app is a disaster. It rarely loads jobs when I click on links from glassdoor emails, and when it dies, it takes SO long. If it manages to do that, you're lucky, but you won't be able to see anything else because nothing else will load. I would never even try to use the app to apply for a job. It would take forever and likely fail.
2022-11-25 | Rain Liev | Extremely buggy & lags. Once I apply for a job and submit the application, the app freezes on the logo loading page, and won't move past it. It's not clear if my application went through- most times it has, but I still have to close the app out, reopen it, and start over again as far as looking up jobs. It does this on Android and iOS. It forces you to use the app to look for jobs, not a browser. And, why does the iOS version have Glassdoor Bowls, and Android's version does not? 🤔😕🤷🏽♀️ |
