I had such an awful experience with my last music player. I had paid for it even and the thing decides to change its policy to being filled with ads unless you pay a subscription. So thank you very much for actually making a music player that is just a good music player. It's very nice to have such an important part of what I want out of my phone work so well.

Okamiwan, 2024-11-12Exactly what I was looking for, play music totally offline. Period. I ditched a previous app after an update which introduced video ads and ate up data. Just recently however, it stopped playing .mid files, which I use for learning. Previous app did this as well, so I don't know if it's Simple Music Player or the operating system, but I would really like it back!

Jack Matson, 2024-09-24Best music app. There are no ads! I was tired of having to sit thru 30 second ads just to change songs. I tried about 5 or 6 music players and this is the one I found with 0 ads. Sound quality is great. It's not fancy with equalizers and things like that but it works and did I mention it's free of ads? There is no need to keep searching for a music player unless you like ads in between songs.
