So, you're going to bed and set your alarm & blue light filter. Later, in the middle of the night when something demands your attention, or your alarm goes off to get up. You select the blue light filter to turn it off... but wait! You can't! Why? Because the blue light filter has activated a full screen ad that takes over your phone, waking everyone else from the blaring sound until you see straight enough and a faint option appears to skip the rest of the ad to go back to the ap & turn it off.
One of the better filters among what is available for my device - Black filter far better than the silly colour tinting options too many of the others offer. Very basic interface. Auto-shuts off when resources are somewhat taxed though.
Used to be good but now wants access to everything and insists a 'bug in android' keeps it from functioning. I just don't want a quick access icon permanently in my screen...
