It's quite basic, straightforward and contains all u need to scan or create QR codes with a few extras 2 assist u if u choose including the ability 2 save search history! The devs didn't compromise when it comes 2 performance, accuracy n efficiency, they coverd it all if u ask me! Even the design gets my vote, it's not over done if u know what I mean! Try it, I know You'll end up keeping it😁 |

I love that it's 2 in 1 !! It's exceeding my expectations and making my transition to "life w/ tech" a lot smoother and stress free. (-1 star b/c it's TOO fast! Never gives even a few sec. for good placement. Usually takes 2-4 attempts for a quality snapshot that it will accept) OTT, it's perfect. |

Both times, I've had to find out the hard way, the GAINT button that says "Go here" after scanning the QR code is a DAMN ad!! It's one thing to have the ad ribbon at the bottom, everyone is entitled to their ads. To deliberately put a GAINT AD button where logically the button should take you to the website you are using the app to take you too. It's a dirt way to get debit information from not tech |

It’s like the app is desperate to scan anything remotely resembling a QR code or barcode, even if it’s not lined up or the right one! Instead of letting me focus on what I actually want to scan, it just jumps the gun and takes a half-baked picture, making the whole process take 10 times longer. Seriously, who thought removing control from the user was a smart move? Fix this mess. |

I think it's a Google problem, and it's driving me crazy. I have just now gone into my Google account settings and changed my ad settings. Get out of this app, Google!!!! |
| 2024-09-01 |  | | Better than the QR code scanner that comes with most smartphones, because it scans all different types of barcodes, QR codes, etc. For example, it's interesting to scan the data back of you driver's license and see what all that encoded data really says-- the generic QR scanner built into a smartphone can't read things like that. |

The app has a large green open button, clicking on that open button takes you to the add. The actual link that has been scanned is at the top of the screen. It is deceptive in that manner. If you are aware of it, you won't have any trouble with it. For a free QR and Barcode scanner it preforms exactly as it should. I can deal with add's for a quality app. Good job |
| 2023-09-26 |  | | Similar complaint as other users have said. When I scanned a QR, it brought up two links. One link with a big blue button that was actually an ad. The other link which was the one I wanted, was much more inconspicuous. I was in a rush trying to pay for parking. I accidentally opened the ad link thinking it was to pay for parking. I foolishly filled out the form and entered my credit card info. Now, my bank account has been hacked because the link is a scam site. 1 star for hosting a scam. |

It took my information and now is billing me 49.95 for something I didn't order or have access to. Be aware that the app allows ads that are scams. In response to your response. BULL. I am not stupid to mix up apps. That is insulting. I maintain my statement. |
| 2023-07-30 |  | | I don't care for the way the ads are presented after scanning a code: Ads are in the middle of the screen, with a large blue button, while the actual scanned link is an inconspicuous url at the top. I feel like this intentionally misleads users into clicking on the ads, and I will be uninstalling because of it. The scanning capability itself works fine. |
