2024-11-28 | Beach Walker | This app use to work so well. Simple user interface. loved using the different plug-ins. Unfortunately they no longer work. Can no longer change my instruments to anything other than the pre-loads: acoustic, bright, music box, organ, Rhodes or synth. All other plug-ins no longer download when I click on them. I've tried all kinds of troubleshooting methods and it makes no difference. Most of my projects are only piano, but due to this malfunction I am no longer able to finish my other projects.
2024-11-12 | Clara Lynn | Even though I can have this on multiple devices, it sucks that I am not able to have my work on both phones automatically. Also, In the tracks where it says "change instrument" it would be great if it could change to any of the instruments, not just guitar to guitar. Like, if I do something with guitar and would like to hear it in strings ensemble (which under the keyboard section), I would love to be able to have it play in strings ensemble. Decent price considering it's not a recurring charge.
2024-01-15 | Craig Jazz | I love this app. I've been using this app to record music and then put my music on music streaming apps. The only problem with it is that there aren't enough instruments to play around with. There aren't enough options to edit the sounds of the instruments. Such as good reverb options, timbre, echo, delay, panning, and other editing tools most DAWs have. Music Zone is cool too. You can share your music with other WalkBand users. It's basically social media for Walkband. 4 stars!
2022-07-07 | Taj Boogie | This software is my go to for making guitar backing tracks, Blues, Reggae, rock, R&B, Motown etc...I can't stress how much this app has improved my guitar playing. Mind you I have only used the drum pad to create my backing tracks and it is 10 times better than finding backing tracks on YouTube. Trust me on this! You will not need to spend hundreds of dollars to make a simple but very effective beat. If you are a guitar player looking for backing tracks then my friend this app gets the job done.
2022-03-17 | Joe Foley | Pretty excellent. They have one of the best drum sets I've found the guitar sound pretty good and the base is decent. Cord mode on piano is exceptional. Plug into some big speakers and you can put on a pretty impressive performance. The only real bad thing is when you're trying to play at a certain volume and then when the ad kicks in it is LOUD AS HELL!!! That's bad advertising cuz it makes me hate the product but WalkBand is quite good
2021-11-15 | Dodge Thompson | I really like this app, however I keep having an issue with notes playing that aren't in the score, causing me to have to redo hours of work on a new track to eliminate it. This is one of the very few apps that I've considered buying, as otherwise it's a really good app. Also if you guys have a workaround for it playing back notes that aren't there it would be much appreciated.
2021-03-24 | JJLORD official | Great app. Love it by all means, you can make awesome shorts and demos that sound really clean. My issues/suggestions. Recording audio such as vocals records it at a slight delay, rather in using wired or bluetooth headphones and i have to adjust them to sync up the way i recorded them. I also think a looper option would be a cool feature if its not already. I like to make loops to play my guitar along to, it was just disappointing. Great app overall tho for beginner producers in the making.
2020-08-05 | Piano Shark | Please do not get this app, there are many other options that do what this app does far better. Walk Band is riddled with pop up advertisements every time you open the home menu or when you select an instrument to use. They should have just stick with their "watch this ad to unlock this instrument" method, but just had to milk their users for money. Don't waste your time, find another free app, or spend a few bucks and get an app that is actually good for making music. (Tldr: popups, bad ctrls)
2020-03-30 | A Google user | App was great when i first got it. I loved it a lot. However, after a couple of updates, it went down hill. The main problem is the sustain. Back when the game was fairly new, it would have sustain on its own. Now, you have to click whether you want sustain at the top of either the guitar or piano, which wouldnt normally be a bad thing. Doing this and trying to play will screw up the notes and make it sound horrible. I feel that once they fix this, hopefully with a new update, it will be better.
2020-02-26 | A Google user | This is an amazing app. Unlike other apps, you can create your own loops and add crisp audio, not normal audio. However, the labels on some of the primary actions are stupid. When I hit backspace accidentally while trying edit something, it said save project, ok or cancel. Thinking cancel meant to exit function menu, I hit cancel. This deleted 3 hours of hard work. I think Save Project? would be a yes or no question. Other than that, the app is good. |
