2024-05-04 | _ | Very good game but way too short. Add level editor and more levels pls. Add more bugfixes. This game is full of them.
2024-01-05 | Aileen O'Leary | First one is a fabulous game & this sequel did not disappoint! Only complaint is how easy it is to get sucked in. That said, it's perfect for keeping entertained while waiting-for Dr, on hold, for bus-whatever. Wish their other games (such as Rop) were still available, hope they keep making games-I've loved every one. If you haven't played the first one, just get them both-they're that good (and addictive)!
2023-01-29 | Xoduk | Ok, look. I love the game, it's amazing and the new mechanics plus aesthetics make it better than the first, but I was told that I would be satisfied by the new version which will include more levels, more mechanics, and most importantly, a level editor. The game is great, but it isn't replayable enough. You'd think I could give more than one star easily, but this promise for a new version was over 2 years ago. The only update since then was one bug fix in February 2021. So where's my editor??
2023-01-19 | Nils Valentin | I prefer actually Hocus 1 as it has 120 levels, meditation type music, is more challenging and is free. I want to show my support for the developer so I bought this second part. It needs more challenging levels and perhaps different type of music. This app is more playful, the free first app is more challenging.
2022-12-07 | Ivan Filipov | It was good and enjoyable with all the new obstacles and game modes compared to Hocus, but somehow I've finished it a lot faster than the original Hocus.
2022-07-04 | Russell Doneathy | Good, quick puzzle game. Would be nice to see the ability to move the structure around horizontally to help in gameplay.
2022-06-07 | dzy n | Love the puzzles, but one in particular seemed to have no solution no matter how I tried...can't tell you the level because they aren't numbered or labeled. I hope more levels are added. Maybe make them more complex.
2022-03-19 | Ian Block | Had wanted this for a while and then saw it was on sale! Looked at the little trailer and instantly knew it would be super fun. I never like the endless mode on the original because I wasn't that smart. Really looking forward to the level editor, can't wait to play with the new mechanics! I do have one suggestion though, you should be able to have a single goal or multiple in your level. I like the single goal from the first hocus.
2021-12-11 | Meteoryte Krenaryte | It's an improvement and complete revision of the first. No longer are you heading for one point to finish a level, but instead collecting dots located around the area. The pure aesthetic of moving your piece to clear the win condition just satisfies me. Plus the new mechanics along the way made it even more intriguing, as in having to think ahead of time for some levels. It all comes to make this pretty game!
2021-12-10 | Jack Stringer (Jack5) | hocus 2 is a tradeoff from hocus 1. On one hand you get a better level select and multiple objects to collect instead of one endpoint to reach, but on the other hand you get arguably worse sound design (with no way to turn the music off) and extra mechanics that don't add enough to the gameplay in my opinion. I would instead recommmend the hocus 1 level pack as a value for money purchase. |
