| 2024-11-25 |  | | Ads every 10 seconds. Absolutely not usable with android auto. Songs play for 10 seconds and then they plug their premium service ad in a loop. Do not recommend for android auto. Garbage Edit: to the developers response, I think it's understandable to show ads but the ads are every 10 seconds and then it skips to the next song. So in reality it is not even free with ads because it doesn't play any songs for a meaningful length, it's just ads after ads. Just be upfront about it that's all. |
| 2023-12-13 |  | | I have been a Gaana Plus user for the past few years. I usually subscribe to the monthly pack and then move to the yearly pack. But yesterday my pack expired and when I tried to play a song this morning they were not even allowing me to play the song after listening to the ad. The funny part is that I couldn't even find most of my favourite songs in the app and they give some sort of useless songs as a result that no one likes to hear. Finally, it's time to switch to Spotify bye bye gaana🙏 |

I use pandora and Spotify ( compatible with all devices) for English music and Gaana for desi songs. I noticed few annoying things for which I may not renew or recommend this app. 1. songs often disappear from the list due to gaana contract issues with record companies. 2. Annoying messages for Subscribing even after having the annual subscription. 3. Low Quality (fidelity) than free YouTube. |

I just bought the subscription to gaana plus, thinking that I would get access to all the songs that were in my playlists. However, what I found was that about 70% of those songs are no longer available on gaana anymore. Initially, after subscription, they would not play, but showed up in my playlist. After restarting the app, they do not even show in the playlists. Not worth the money. |

It's an OK app if you just want to search and play songs. Most of their playlists are static. They don't add many new ones or update existing ones. I did buy a year of Gaana Plus. But won't be renewing it. |

Pretty soon as OS window prompts up with options to close the app or wait. This has occurred a number of times in the past few weeks. Phone runs Android 11 with the latest patches (March 2021). |

You'll have to stop the car, close the advertisement and then again start the music. Also, the app is wayy too cluttered and filled up with ads everywhere. I understand that it's a free version, but come on, have some decency. |

Too many clicks, unintutive navigation. I have plus subscription which removes ads but Ganna pushes useless content like coins, hotshot, videos all over the page while playlist is the least of their focus. I will not be renewing plus for this reason. App should be content library and easy to play favorites. Ganna fails at both. |
| 2020-03-08 |  | | I hardly leave reviews, but Gaana, you need to do better. I don't know what happened, but ever since last year or so, your app has been malfunctioning. The songs never play when I am on a different app or if my screen is off. I might as well use YouTube then! I remember not having this issue in the past; the only problems back then were not having a couple of my fave songs licensed and you didn't have the lyrics feature. Now the whole app's a mess. Until you fix this I must use another app :( |
