2024-01-30 | Glenn Rickert | I used to use this app constantly, but now it doesn't work at all. Trip planning is impossible because the bar doesn't remember what you've input inside it. You can't get schedules or figure things out at all. Whoever updated this app has less technical skill than I do, and that's really bad, as I dont have any at all!
2022-12-12 | Chester Howze | This revised app should have been compared to the previous version, before being released. This version shows lack of fore thought on the developer's part. The information in this edition, appears to have been provided by a person (or persons) who has NO knowledge of the importance of frustrated passengers making timely connections. Bus drivers only know of their routes, not knowing how the system is one integrated unit. Give us pre-planners a chance to use our computers to research. Thanks
2022-07-15 | Joel Lawson | Low-resolution raster images instead of proper dynamically-rendered maps. Tacky ads in an app that should be an official public service. Absolutely amateur app design that looks like it was created with some free online app generator. Instant uninstall from me, a daily bus/train commuter. Will return once they make something more professional.
2021-08-09 | Zack Mitchell | Improvements still need to be made to the app. I'm sure as the new lines get built and the LA Olympics nears, fixes will happen. **Map needs to be better than just a png or whatever it is. **A news or updates section for us to check in on the progress being made to the new lines, including scheduled completion dates. **Would be nice to be able to reload Tap cards through the app. **If there are delays or station closures would be nice to have that as a banner or listed in a new tab for delays.
2021-07-27 | BJ Halyaman | A lot to like about this app. Easy to use and user friendly. One thing I wish, however, is that they would open the map when picking favorites. Right now, you have to switch modes (from nearby to bus routes)if a stop you want to save isn't within a few block radius of your current location. Otherwise it a lot better than the "official" metro app. Update: Was having problems but they fixed it. Good work ๐
2021-07-23 | Casey Wright | LA Metro is an embarrassment to the developed world. Unfortunately this app relies on information provided by Metro, which makes the rail predictions about as accurate as a random number generator. Update: app often does not give any times, other times advertisements cover the times and there's no way to get rid of them. This app is worthless.
2021-07-15 | C. Covington | When this app first came out it was awsome. I no longer had to wait a long time for a bus to arrive, or just miss one trying to get to a bus stop. I loved it so much, it really saved me from a lot of frustration. However, the app has become impossible to use. When I try ro find out when the next bus arrives it show me ads, and I can't get it to show the bus information. I'm completely frustrated by this. I'm a senior citizen who relies heavily on the buses to get around, it's no longer useful.
2021-04-28 | George โSparkyโ Murray | I need info sometimes very quickly. This app is fast. I know where I need to go and sometimes I'm frantically trying to pull up a Metro schedule on my phone. Doesn't always cooperate. I'll never have to do that anymore. Thanks a million. I'm adding to this post. After 5 months of using this app I've found it gets real glitchy. Just won't work. I'll delete and download it again and it used to work. Not anymore. Y'all let me know when you get your act together. Really disappointed
2020-10-17 | Don | It used to be ok but within the past few years, this app would report two different busses coming and there would only be one, usually with the earlier bus being fictitious and never showing up. The times of the busses usually end up coming close to each other, with the earlier bus increasing in minutes of arrival whereas the later bus decreases. This has caused me to be late to work several times. I am not sure whether the issue is on Metro or the app's end, either way it is infuriating.
2019-11-14 | A Google user | As of 8/2019 I can no longer edit where I want to go. My start location is fine, but why can't I edit my end location? I type in my new end location and it says retry, retry. I AM connected to wifi, so why the glitch? I go to more places than just work and now have to rely on google maps. ๐ I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling: the app has retained old info, but I still can't edit new end location. I really liked this app. Can this issue please be addressed? Ty. |
