2024-11-23 | Amy Baney | Honestly this is a great contender against Fossify Gallery. It has tons of features and is super fast, plus it has great file management. My only gripe, and the reason I'm not switching to this, is that even if I buy pro to enable menu customization, it's still going to be two taps to switch to all media, then two more to switch back to folders. Without pro, that's two taps and a scroll. It seems small, but it matters to my workflow. Otherwise, it's amazing.
2024-10-04 | JOSEPH DESMOND | Why I won't pay the $12.99 for the year and here are the reasons as follows: There is a software bug when you want to edit the photo. The option to edit a photo when you are viewing it is only available from the hamburger menu. There is not an option from the icons on the bottom of the photo to edit the photo. The choice for editors are restricted and don't allow "Always Open" for the editor of your choice. ***The Beta Program is a joke. They ignore suggestions.
2024-10-01 | Charles | App has a lot of good features. Best thing is the developer responds quickly! I wanted to be able to select a group for moving or deletion, particularly by month or date. I couldn't figure that out but I got a reply to press on the heading of the section which works! (Suggestion might be to add a little check-box square up in heading for the month that could make it a little more intuitive.)
2024-08-13 | Cody Knapp | This app is awesome and offers a lot of useful features, including being very customizable when it comes to organization. My only complaint so far is that it is not that good at pulling the date metadata off of downloaded files, so it's much less likely to sort those by date at all, it just files them under "unknown date".
2024-07-14 | EB | Decent gallery app but there are some suggestions that would make this app a lot better: 1) right swipe on any part of the screen opens drawer I'm aware that this is available but only on the edge of the screen, this can't be used if you're using swipe gestures in place of a back button 2) search for tags in viewer Its rather annoying I can't filter by tags in folders, or filter them out for that matter. Aves gallery does a great job with this. 3) edit metadata creation times
2024-06-22 | TDB | I've been looking for a file manager that can handle both folders and tags for years! This is nearly perfect and I was more than happy to shell out 12ish bucks for the full version and the nested folders feature. I haven't yet found a major flaw. I've only been using it for about a day but it took way less time than that to find the issues with other apps.
2024-04-19 | Mark Bratcher | App moved all of my camera shots into its recycle bin and I can't restore them. I must have selected a folder when I thought I selected one image. It moved ALL of the photos (350) that I had in the camera photo. I was able to open the recycle bin in F-Stop to see them, but there's no command to restore! There is an odd icon that is a trash can with an arrow, but when I click on it, it says I need the PRO version. Really, it's going to hold me hostage with a basic feature? Sucks!
2024-02-19 | Stefawn Thompson (Waffle King) | **Update: The issue below was due to the not having a transitional effect between gifs. Tidbits it to fade fixed it.** I have had this feature for years on my old phones. However, upon getting a new phone, I noticed that GIFs no longer animate in slideshows. On my S21, they did, but now they don't on the S24. Online sources mention that this feature is not available in the "free" version, but I paid to remove ads. Was that not considered an upgrade?
2023-06-10 | Jerold “The Shooter” | Update: xmp files don't delete with video (must use another app to do that), recycle bin doesn't show size, vids thb dont show size. Great app. Few that tag videos; Aves is the other. I have 3 issues: 1. Tagging cannot be saved without a premium subscription. Also, without it, if you open the same item on a different device, with the same app, you will see no tags. 2. You have to pay for a recycle bin. Making app inferior to their free apps.
2023-04-13 | Piotr Naskrecki | I have been using this app for a while and generally prefer it to the default Google Photos that came with the phone. However, the interface of the app is confusing and after extensive searches online I still don't know how to empty the Recycle Bin. One would think that there should be an option to empty it but, alas, there isn't one. So now I have hundreds of photos sitting there without the possibility of deleting them. |
