2024-09-03 | Pjl3 | This is the best app I've ever installed on my phone. I never have Bluetooth on out of fear of an attack but recently I had to start using a medical device for diabetes that requires Bluetooth to recieve data to send to dr and with trusted devices and strict mode I'm able to remain confident that there's no attack by monitoring the logs. This combined with a firewall for wifi and you have a fairly secure device.
2024-07-27 | Medusa | The app does what it says. There doing hard disconnects here where I am. I tried connecting my blue tooth speaker. When I saw one of my neighbors, whom was more 5han likely disconnected. Had there 55 in tv connected to my blue booth. So I found this app. Strict mode is the greatest. Any attempt at all. The app will alert you. Even it they are changing their device name to look like your device. The app lets you know. The best part is DENY. Got some long faces around here. Mine isnt one them.
2023-09-21 | Bats Malone | This app is perfect for those dirt bag neighbors who think they're the world's greatest hackers. They try to connect and get nothing but rejected. It's even more valuable now because I've noticed attempts to connect even when I Bluetooth turned off. Without this app I wouldn't have known. You have to go into system settings and turn Bluetooth off there also.
2023-04-06 | Christine Natanael | Hi! It's been a while! Nice improveents! This device is runing OS 11 and will never be updated (unfortunately). I had a glitch. Uinstalled/reinstalled. Lost the update. It is still showing Blueborne Guard on mine. I have no clue. My Play Store also says last updated March 25, 2021. The darn thing also said Password required when it got past the intro screens. I have no clue here. Works fine on my other phones.
2022-10-15 | Shawna Miles | Someone's been able to get a Google takeout on August 22 of ALL my memories through MY BLUETOOTH & downloaded it through an apple cloud (I've never owned anything Apple, only androids, it's ridiculous, they also have some control over my phone, turning on Bluetooth, WiFi, accessing private photos to my family grandkids and friends 😥 Shame on them, find something better to do with your time. I was so VERY THANKFUL to have found this app & it's WORKING, thank you Bluetooth Firewall!!
2022-09-11 | Sharon Hart | So many break-ins to Android phones using multiple flaws in Bluetooth security. At least now I'm notified if someone turns Bluetooth on or makes my Bluetooth discoverable. Whoever breaks into my Bluetooth uses an unnamed Bluetooth device but this can be made visible in settings -> system -> developer options. But my Bluetooth firewall was not installed when I factory reset my phone last month and someone turned Bluetooth on and got me again I didn't check til too late so I need to factory reset.
2022-01-30 | Memory Thief (MemoryThief) | I enjoy the idea of what is happening, sorta bummed that the file explorer isn't a part of the security suite as it would be nice to police the data transfer both ways as well... But I'm having an issue with the control and verification of the bluetooth mac address, as if the app isn't actually connecting to the hardware, any troubleshooting steps would be helpful... Willing to send logs and be guinea pig...
2022-01-28 | The Sandwich Freak | Great piece of software…very much needed; however, I would like to formally request the following features: 1. Automatic and/or user-initiated rejection of Bluetooth pairing requests from non-trusted/unknown devices which simultaneously create a block/blacklist using remote device's Media Access Control (MAC) address. 2. The ability to make the host Bluetooth device’s name invisible or display "UNKOWN" to remote Bluetooth devices attempting to discover its (MAC) address and host name needed to establish a connecting on the data-link level. 3. A "Refresh" feature option added to the Bluetooth Radar screen
2021-10-13 | Mike | Loved the trial so I happily bought it. Would love the ability to add devices based on Mac address too. Like my S Pen keeps connecting at weird times and turning off my Bluetooth. I haven't been able to figure out how to scan for it. I've got some other devices similar to that as well. Being able to add the Mac address based on the notifications would be very helpful. Otherwise I'm loving the experience and have recommended it to my family. Keep up the good work!
2021-08-31 | Yom Kipper | While you can not stop government officials. You can stop many others. I have this app on both my phones. If I have to buy it twice, I will. At least I get warmed w this app. It does have a bit of a learning curve. It's great that the dev gives you time to really test it. One more thing. The older your phone. The easier it is to hack. No google patches? Better use this then. |
