2024-11-29 | Amy Bennett | I get this app with my credit card and if it wasn't a freebie, I probably wouldn't bother with it. The built in 'AI' is rudimentary at best (you can only exclude body areas and not include details of injuries where it would be useful to have gentle exercises incorporated rather than all or nothing), but hopefully that will improve over time. And my personal coach keeps giving me 15 minutes of burpees! I never, ever want to do 15 minutes of anything in a training session, let alone burpees!
2024-10-01 | oehlda2000 | It's not bad. I generally prefer the targeted workouts, and don't rely exclusively on this app. Today the coach wanted me to do 6sets of 20x forward lunges with weight. I think 3sets is plenty. I switched to another exercise after 3. Kinda weird. Other times it's had me do kettlebell swings ( with rests) for 13 to 15 minutes. Pretty boring.
2024-06-15 | Sacha Magder | Be aware of predatory billing. I stopped using this app within a few months and I thought I'd turned off auto-renew. However without warning somehow I got billed for an auto renewal of an annual plan. Even after emailing for a refund on the day of the transaction, they refused to refund the annual plan. On the app, the auto-renew and cancelation options are difficult. Be advised!!
2024-02-29 | Laura Carmer | I like that you can customize workouts and choose when and how often you want to work out. Love that you can select what equipment you have so they don't give you exercises you can't actually do. The price for a yearly sub is one of the cheapest I've seen. I can't afford it right now but will definitely sub in the future. They have amazing customer service, very responsive. I do wish there was more stretching available for warm up and cool down but overall a solid workout app I would recommend.
2023-07-07 | Karlie Sanders | I like this app overall, it serves it's purpose. However, one of it's biggest drawbacks is that I can't move workouts around for the week, once you set your days you can't change them without starting your "journey" over. For days you don't have workouts scheduled you have to choose from the list of challenges, or build your own workout. I really wish I could choose weight workouts without having to create my own workout.
2023-07-01 | Jessica Lockwood | I really enjoy this app for the most part. The exercises are good and challenging. I've made it through a few of the different training journeys and I've liked them all. There are a couple of quality of life things I feel like the app could do better with, though. I think it would be nice to see exactly how far through each stage of the journey you are and I feel like the community feed is confusing to navigate sometimes. But for the workouts, the app is great.
2022-12-10 | Oscar Vasquez | I won't lie that this was a great fitness app and it's helped me many times to get into shape. Unfortunately, I have to give this one star because I thought I deactivated my subscription, yet somehow it still charged me $60. What's more upsetting is that I was denied a refund, and now I'm out $60 ("I fully understand that you will be disappointed at this"). They can keep my money, I deleted my entire account and I am not returning to Freeletics. They can also take their vouchers and shove it.
2022-07-26 | Hollie Hawkins | I was really disappointed with this app. You cannot look further into it unless you purchase it. The nutrition does not allow for much customization. The excersise portion was not what i needed. You have to warm up for 7 minutes then cool down for 7 minutes and there is no way around it, with a small window to excersise in, thay didnt leave me much time. There werent many excersises, it just had a few that you had to do about 5 times. Waste of money. Ended up finding a free one instead.
2021-09-29 | David C Cardillo | Can't uninstall enough. After collecting all of your personal info, you find out you need to pay a monthly fee to use it. There is no free option, like it suggests. Hit, "skip for now," and it preps you a workout - and then says you need to subscribe to actually go through it. They're not even upselling optional services. You need to pay to use the workouts.
2021-02-20 | Robin Shen | Not a great app. Overly elaborate with very little focus on hypertrophy. If you are looking to get the body of a little boy with giant legs then this is the app for you. Also the format is excruciating as the workouts take far too long with no attempt to shorten the workouts with supersets. If you accidentally stop a workout, you cannot pick up where you left off and are forced to go through long useless warm ups. Maybe good for cyclists. But if you want to build muscle, look elsewhere. |
