the F1 TV app has had a lot of improvements over the years and has steadily climbed from 1 star to 3. It's nice that now the app mostly saves my spot although it would be nice if i could switch to a different app without it reloading the app and making me look for the session i was watching again. also, sometimes it starts at a different spot, so i still have to manually find where i was. I've also noticed that the overall quality seems worse when i use Sky Sports commentary via the world feed.

Hot Garbage. The app is slow and more than occasionally crashes. They removed the ability to cast live streams to a tv. There's no ability for background play (locking your device and listening to the audio), there's not picture in picture mode. This app is genuinely terrible for a paid subscription...

Needs a start from beginning option when the race is live. You are guaranteed to have it spoiled for you. Also the pause button is broken and has been for months. After the price hike this is unacceptable. I doubt I will continue my subscription after this year. These issues have made me just skip watching races. Edit: also impossible to rewind

Biggest oversight on this app is that you do not have the capability to set the schedule for events based on local time/location. With location permissions, it would be easy to adjust times according to the person's location, or make it a basic setting in the account profile. I pay a premium for F1 TV, so it would be nice not to have to search Google everytime for converting the track times to my local times. Thank you.

Generally the app is good, lots of content available. It has a bug where it loses my place and i have to fast forward to where i left off half the time. To make things worse, the fast forward isn't fast. Takes about 60 seconds to forward halfway through a race. I had a vhs in 1992 that was better! Please fix this.

I can watch any other streaming video from any number of services at 1080P on my tablet with zero problems. But I can't watch F1 at anything better than 360. And that's after the race. If I try to watch it during the race, it stutters so bad it's unwatchable. There must be something going on with your bandwidth or broadcasting ability. It does this on all my televisions at home too.

Missing crucial basic functionality. 1. What app in 2024 will not let you turn off autoplay? The autoplay is obnoxious and also terrible at predicting what to play. Oh you just watched FP1? Let's show you the post-quali show next. 2. Why is there no ability to play as a small window over other apps or with the screen turned off? 3. Loses track of progress - if you click continue watching you may actually be taken to several minutes back. 4. No ability to download VOD for offline watching

This app has a frustrating flaw! When I watch a race that is already in progress, but choose "watch from the start" , all is good. However the moment I "cast" the video from my Android phone to my TV, the stream switches to the the LIVE broadcast! Today when I did that what started playing on my TV was the podium ceremony! Thanks for ruining the race for me devs :(

This is by far the worst app for streaming anything that I use. Casting to a TV will put it live if it is currently airing no matter if you select to start from the beginning and it starts that way on your phone. The scanning forward or back dragging the progress bar is as responsive as watching a video in 2004. This is a multibillion dollar company and the app leaves you feeling like it's a start up with their first attempt at an app. There is no alternative, so they know they needn't update it

Regarding chromecast- the controls are nonsense. The middle button should pause/ play (like literally every other app), up and down should display the progress, right and left should allow the video feed changes. Stop bleeping driver radio. I'm an adult. I pay for this. Let me hear the driver's dissappointment when he gets kicked out in Q1. It would be very simple to choose an audio stream between the current censored kid-friendly and the full experience, either in settings or before each race.
