I would give 5 stars except: 1) italics throw off the formatting, sometimes causing text not to be justified, sometimes causing text to be displayed over other text; 2) I really want a way to sort by Series. |
| 2024-10-24 |  | | I can live with an ad when I close a book. What I find annoying is that the text of any buttons in the ad is in Czech! Also, I tried to download cover art. Again, the instructions and button text is all in Czech. I tried using Google to translate some text and thought I found a 'Save' button, but I didn't get the cover art. Is there any way to get the text in English? UPDATE: I have been hunting for a 'Languge' option for weeks. Perhaps it should be higher up in the menus. |

It reads every type of file, it even reads PDF files like it was an ePub file! It also automatically add books that you download. And it only shows ads when you close a book. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended. |
| 2024-10-09 |  | | The UI was a bit jumpy. The thumbnails seem to be assigned purely based on the book's name rather than it's file location. Leading all books of the same name to only use one thumbnail. The way the programs sort by names is also incorrect. since when is 7 higher than 19? |

I like that you can see how many pages are left in each chapter and each book and save all the settings and bookmarks to a file and transfer them to another phone/tablet and you can choose your own dictionary app from your installed apps. Lot's of other things that also make it way better than other eBook readers. |

Second issue is that occasionally when opening the app, the text is slightly outside the left bound, leading to about half of all the leftmost letters cut in two. Flipping pages doesn't fix it, minimizing app and coming back to it doesn't fix it. Closing and reopening app does. Supports hooking up to Calibre / network storage |

While trying to find a setting to turn off tapping to turn pages (which doesn't exist either) I turned on an option that was supposed to make it more like reading a book. The text was immediately in light mode and switching the setting off did absolutely nothing. Switching dark mode off and on again did nothing. Every time I checked if it had done anything I had to sit through an ad. I get migraines and this is a nightmare for me. |
| 2024-03-18 |  | | Honestly love this app. You can change the cover, text to speech, read offline with your own things, favorite, no adds (for me at least. I didn't pay btw), manage the font, color, style, highlight, and more. The best app in my opinion to read from. Few minor things is that you can't have like separate collections besides favorite them, change the names, and it's a little tricky to understand how the functions work (easy once you figure it out took me like 5 min?) besides that it's wonderful! |

This is because it plays intermittent forced video ads which it forces you to watch in order to continue reading breaking your concentration and pulling you out of whatever your reading this is unacceptable in an app like this don't waste you time with this |
