2024-11-25 | David Clem | App never opens the article I click on via notifications. Really annoying. Love it otherwise... Uninstall/reinstall did not resolve the issue. When I click on an article notification, theScore opens to the location that I was last at Still hasn't been fixed despite numerous correspondence with app support
2024-11-23 | mdg4832 | I've had it with this app. 10 year user, was appreciative, but the chat feature has sent me over the edge. 50% of the time I just click send and the message doesn't go. No error message, no warning. It just simply wastes my time and energy for nothing. Am I typing reserved key words? Is it filtered? I wouldn't know. It just lets you click send and doesn't show up. And if you're in there having to chat with those knuckleheads you're probably already in a bad mood so it triples the frustration.
2024-11-22 | Sc | Tried to give this a chance over the letters. Unfortunately, it's just too janky to keep using plus the fact ads keep popping up more frequently. The final straw for me was the introduction of a ad at the top of the scores, which doesn't load fully until a few seconds then shoots all the scores down so you click the wrong thing. I'd advise the devs to make their app far far far more jser friendly, you aren't going to beat the letters doing the samething. Won't miss this app.
2024-11-17 | Clayton Cucuzza | I've used this app for years to keep live updates on games I can't watch as well as reads bits of sports journalism. They just recently had an update and it was so good it actually made me want to write a review. More info on teams positionings in divisions and better game-time tracking graphics. Is this app the best at what it does? Who knows. Because it's beyond good enough for me to not bother trying to find anything else.
2024-10-27 | April Adams | Switched from ESPN to this app because ESPN kept notifying me about sports and sports news I did not care about with no way to turn it off. The Score was promising for a few weeks but now it's also notifying me about sports news I don't care about and didn't sign up for. I'll keep it until a better app, that only notifies me on the scores I want gets created. What is so difficult about just notifying me about the scores of the games/teams I follow and that's it? No team news, scores only!
2024-10-23 | Keith Hatzipetro | Ruined the gamecast tab for NBA games by not showing the players involved in a play. Instead they replaced it with a giant ESPN bet ad. I have no problem with advertising provided the product is good, but this ad replaced a quality product and I'll probably move to another app if it doesn't get changed.
2024-10-18 | Tim R | This app has changed. The new "play by play" feature is terrible. It lags, and often resets itself to repeat previous plays. Also, there has been an annoying increase in pop-up ads that literally redirect to a webpage, separate from the app. I uninstalled the app, ran antivirus and malware scanners, then reinstalled it, and it still does the same thing. Very annoying and intrusive.
2024-10-15 | Rob Swihart | I've used this app for years, mainly for fantasy football insigth, and sadly, it's starting to trend in the wrong direction when it comes to quality. What once we're good articles with quality content are now being replaced with podcasts of that content. No one wants to listen to an entire podcast for info. Scanning an article for specific info is much more user-friendly. If it's not broken, don't fix it.
2024-10-06 | Steve Wood | Great Application. Better Widget. Minimal team name abbreviations and sizable gaps between ganes allow the widget to be easily read, followed, and understood. All of one's favorite leagues can be covered on one widget. Lastly. developers are considering how to magnify font size, hopefully retaining aesthetics, per a previous request. A go-to widget.
2024-10-06 | JD | Don't bother with this app. Since covid it's gone straight down hill. We're 2 days into the nhl season. On the standings page it's not showing a single game been played in the western conference. Updates in ncaa football are often a week behind. It used to be always quick to update and news that was insightful. Now? NAH |
