I really enjoy the storyline and the creativity involved. Interesting plot and good graphics. However sometimes you need to move all the way back to a first room and collect so many items you don't remember what they're for. It would be great if a few rooms were linked but once you moved on the first room(s) aren't needed anymore.

Great story and voice acting, which carries a lot of weight with me in these games. It's what keeps me coming back. However, I need to call out a big whiff in the design here. Using a hint is *ridiculously* unhelpful- I'd venture to say, worst-in-class for this genre. Depending where you are standing, it can take 2 to 4 hints to advance you past where you're stuck. This is because you don't get an actual helpful hint, you just get sparkles that tell you to move to another room. Nearly useless.

If anyone grew up on the Nancy Drew computer games and misses them, this has a very similar vibe and scratches that same itch. I loved the variety of puzzles, the difficulty was perfect, the story was interesting - I can't wait to play them all!

Annoying time killer. Puzzles are senselessly difficult and you can only get hints if you spend money. It makes sure you have to jump through a dozen different scenes collecting and fiddling around with more than a dozen different puzzles that each require a dozen different tasks before you can even solve just one of them. It's like reading a book with 4 sections, and in order to resolve section 2 you have to finish section 4, and to finish section 1 you have to go through section 4, etc.

I am so amazed by this game in every way! No ads & its free! Runs smooth & I love that it's not too easy or short & over too soon. I can't say enough good things. 1 thing I especially like is that with this game I can't tell the pieces you need to click. What I mean is other games make a faded background & the game pieces you need to click are more vivid & easier to spot. But not this game. I can't tell what's background & what's an active piece. Love the games within the game,Fantom pieces etc

This is a fun game but it has a bug that does not allow me to finish a key puzzle. I've played it through twice to this moment and the same thing happened both times. When "restoring" the picture, one of the paper pieces disappears when placed. There are a few comments here that complain about bugs. It seems it is a real problem. Too bad. I was enjoying it.

Just like your other series of games (Lost lands, Legacy, etc)- the FIRST one is always nearly the best with the length, story, and amount of puzzles to solve. After that- it goes downhill. I really hope that isn't the case with this one. So far I am impressed with all the locations and amount of critical thinking I have to apply. Let us hope the games that follow this one are just as impressive.

This is such a fun game, and you could get to the end without watching a single ad if you use less than 5 hints. There are definitely parts where I needed hints, especially when you have to go all over the map 🥴 But the story is engaging, the artwork is atmospheric, and most importantly the puzzles are very fun. So I don't mind watching a few ads on my timing at all. The value makes it a steal imo. It is a ghost 👻 story though which I was not expecting.

Five BN has the best of these type of games, IMHO. I've played all 8 Lost lands, 4 Darkness and Flame, 3 Legacy, and 2 Legendary Tales. NY Mysteries has been one that I've started a few times but not going through with for some reason. Now that I'm really going into it, I'm definitely enjoying the game. Great graphics and mini-games, etc.

I didnt like this one as much as other games from this developer. It felt like a lot more random clicking and struggling to find stuff than before (probably because on PC it's easier to find areas to zoom in on. This wasn't an issue with mobile on others I've played from them). Puzzles were generally good, with some that were irritatingly designed as a way to make them more challenging. As always, artwork and storyline were great though!
