Throw away your other point-n-click adventures. With a creepy story, beautiful scenery, entertaining mix of puzzles, and intuitive interface, Lost Lands is the one you are looking for. Ad-free, a few cinematic cut scenes, strong theme, decent logic behind the solutions, What more could you want? Furthermore, the only reason to click on every pixel, as you do in so many games in this genre, is to find completely optional "collections" bits, so that's there, if you like that stuff.

This is not necessarily a puzzle game, but more of a point n click, search for clues and items to progress type of thing. You do have a hidden item hunt aspect in there as well. Overall, it's fun and definitely not a finish in one day game. Without the additional hint options, this one would have been nearly impossible to complete, 5 out of 5.

I really enjoyed this game although I wasn't able to find one of the collection items even after going back over every screen at least four times. I don't usually quit until I get everything but I'm tired of tapping all over the screen everywhere so I've decided to move on to #2. Hope it will be as enjoyable.

Unique puzzles. Map fast tracks you anywhere. Pretty good storyline. The only issue is the up and down movement you can do with the screen to look at things. It messes up mini games. I couldn't place the stairs on the tower because moving them makes the whole screen move in the opposite direction. The pieces won't lock in for being close. Dampened my experience fighting with the last piece of a mini game. Update: game did not save my progress after a long break, would have to restart the story

Back in the day I was a long time subscriber to BFG. While cruising the app store, #8 in this series popped up and I decided to try it, then thought I'd go ahead and start with #1 for the heck of it. All I can say is WOW. Great graphics, the puzzles are just hard enough to be challenging but not so hard they frustrate. Exactly how I like them. And, no Ads, unless you choose to watch for coins. I haven't enjoyed a game this much in decades. Great game, enjoyable experience!

I love five bn games. It's definitely the go-to for these kind of games. Also, don't try to use the map if you have fat thumbs... you'll click the hint button. After this one, the controls change a bit for optimization but you have o play the first lost lands in order to understand the whole story. I have played them all and working my way through them again.

The game was exactly what I looking for. I played another detective puzzle app like this, but actions cost too much energy so I have to wait a long time to play again. This app doesn't cost energy, you can play however much you want. You get started out with 5 hints and can watch ads to get more hints. That's the only ads you gotta watch if you choose to. I hope that the areas of some objects you need to get look more obvious (gotta tap everywhere on the screen). Thank you for the bonus chapter!

Very solid game!! I was highly impressed at how neatly it toes the line between tricky, but not frustrating. With a couple tries, I could always figure it out. The puzzles were fun, and the objects were not always obvious. For once, I actually appreciated the spot an object scenes! They were well spaced out, without too many to bog down the game. Great free option.

Really liking this series! And it's a long enough story to stay interesting for the duration, be able to play for a while, and there's video reward options for perks, but you don't need them to play. Even the real money purchases go really far in the game too. The story is complex enough that finishing the game, leaving it be, and coming back to play it over again later is fun again and again.

This game is superb. You don't need to watch any ads unless you're heavily dependent on hints. The puzzles are really fun and the storyline is unique. The puzzles are also non-linear. You'll have to go back and forth between areas to keep solving puzzles, which I like. It's not monotonous at all. You can use the map to teleport between areas so you don't have to manually go from room to room once you've already opened up the area. Highly recommend.
