The Tactacam Fish-i APP turns your phone into a controller for your Fish-i camera.
For use with most Android devices. You can connect the Tactacam Fish-i to your device with the Fish-i APP, after establishing the connection, you can see a live preview of what your camera sees, start or stop recording, view your videos, and download videos to your device for sharing.

This app currently works. I just installed the app on a spare Samsung Galaxy that has been factory reset. I don't even have a sim chip or phone service on this phone. But it does a great job helping me set up my fish-i cameras. Bad reviews? Maybe some people are having problems with the app because they have their phone too cluttered?
Pure Waste of money. The quality of camera is good if you live in 2005! With 3 mega pixels quality it would be the last thing you want to have. Also the app never worked, google flagged it as buggy app and deactivated after installation, also can't run it because it is very buggy... Don't waste your money and time.
Instantly crashes. I've contacted Tactacam about this multiple times. They keep feeding me the same lie. "Their app developers are working to correct the issue." If they really wanted to fix the issue, they would add the Fish-i to their Tactacam Connect app. They have every other POV they sell in that app. Why not the Fish-i? This app was built by the same developer as their original app for the 4.0 and 5.0. They came out with the Tactacam Connect app because that app was so bad. What a waste.
