2024-11-17 | Tanner Brown | Use to love this app. Help me find new fishing spots in areas I've never been to before. But now, I can't see the top baits for the species anymore since the newest update. The new UI is overcomplicated from how it was. I've been paying for premium for years, but I can't use a feature I pay for? Bogus. In reply to the devs comment: From the looks of recent reviews, im not the only one with issues with this new UI or hate the new UI. Instead of asking me to email you on the side, just fix it.
2024-11-13 | Ryan Girah | Latest update has made this app extremely annoying to navigate. Genuinely one of the worst modern user interfaces I've seen on an app this size. Between that and all the kids posting fish with absurdly inaccurate catch info and wrong locations hoping to "preserve their spot" (9/10 it's some local well-known pond), I would avoid this app. There are plenty of other app options with better information from far more accurate sources.
2024-11-11 | Zachary Bowen | Great app. For some reason when I try to select dates for a catch or trip it always chooses the day before the date chosen. Weird bug. Would also really like the option to add quantities to catches, so I could do a trip with lets say 10 fish, but only one is picture worthy, I could do the one picture fish and then just say I cought 9 others of X species.
2024-11-09 | Mister Mister | The app used to be decent but overpriced. The big problem is that I just paid for a another years membership & they just made a big change to the app & it's terrible!!! They got rid of about 75% of the info you used to receive for each lake, river, etc. You can't even look at the pics of the catches. If you click on the thumbnail it won't even show you the picture of the catch. The only picture you'll see is the thumbnail. Best lures? Gone! Bite times? Gone! Leaderboard? Gone! I want a refund!!!
2024-10-31 | Preston Mensch | Terrible. Used to be able to find every good spot with the app and now the directions give me peoples private property without saying it is , including but not limited too:bars , golf clubs , actual homes , and government property. it also just drops the pin in the middle of a road or something with no deacernable way of getting back to the water or it's such a small stream there literally cannot be fish in it. Not to mention all the fishing spots I used to find on it are just gone now?
2024-09-28 | Joe Chudy | Eh, it's alright. Can be useful but the pro version which makes the app usable is an outrageous monthly subscription. Edit: fishbrain replies and claims that resources prevent the subscription from being lower. These resources cost nothing extra that would require a $13 monthly subscription or a $6/month yearly subscription. Allowing the full data for what has been caught at a lake takes no significant resources. If fishbrain would like to link relevant data I'd change my review. I could see $1
2024-09-22 | Mark A | Pay to play This app use to be at least useable when you didn't have a subscription. Unfortunately that subscription is a ridiculous amount for a year. It use to be like a social media platform where anglers help each other but this app isn't even worth it since most people can't even talk to each other about catches or locations without a subscription.
2024-09-13 | James O | Good app, well designed but there's a bit that seemed to have slipped through the cracks. Two notable things. App told me I could do a trial. I followed through then was charged the first day. Apparently years ago I did a trial I didn't remember about. The app shouldn't have offered a trial. Trial is even mentioned with the google product sku. Second, I couldn't upload images to customer support even with permissions given. "Storage permissions needed" error.
2024-09-10 | Charles W | I believe I was charged $79.99 without knowing and it was debited from my account. I do have a picture as need to be contacted ASAP so that those funds can be reversed and returned to me please... Update, have received response from developer and hopefully the issue will be resolved the five star ⭐. To be continued... It was an accidental purchase which is quite apparent. Hardly fish why would I spend 79.99 on a pro upgrade yr subscription for a Fish app? People who know me would be like WTH!
2024-09-09 | Allison Bryan | I've been using this app for years, and it is the best one out there by far! Only a few things I wish they'd fix, like the depth contours only show when you select a type of fish and go to catch positions on the map, and they should have an offline map download. Thanks Fishbrain! |
