You're getting one star because of chapter 7 mission 23. It's not fun to be forced to play a certain way. You're forced to take a fully aggressive ship with zero defensive capabilities and you die in one hit and there's bullets everywhere so you're forced to just try to dodge everything. Not sure why you guys think that's fun but it's not fun to me to play a level over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over..... The stupidity is amazing

Ill start off by saying that this game is absolutely amazing. As far as "bullet hell" scroll shooters go, Phoenix 2 is easily the BEST on the app store right now. The balance is great, the ship variety is massive and amazing, and the gameplay itself is very engaging and fun despite the small enemy variety. My only gripe, and unfortunately, it's a huge one, is that it is agonizingly difficult to earn credits, which you need for upgrades, leaving little incentive to keep playing after campaign...

I MISSED THIS GAME!! Maybe around 6 years ago when I use to have an iPhone this was like the only game I played. Truthfully I am all for android and the only thing I wanted for android was this game. Haha I'm so excited I just got all my old ships. I can't wait to try it out again, I honestly don't remember none of the ship abilities but I got at least half of them!😅 Update: OK,so after replaying it. I came to a realization. You have to grind a ton. If you want to even upgrade or get ships. 🥺

This game was so amazing. But ever since I got downgraded to an Oppo A5s, I am unable to play it as it doesn't support for this model of phones Hic I really wish I could play this again. Maybe make it more compatible? Edit: Hey thanks for your reply! But I'm still unable to play the game as it says "Could not create EGL content" and "fatal error". Which promptly boots me back to the home screen. Crashing the game. Any ideas?...

One of my favorite games, I like the music, I have been playing for about a year, 3 of my favorite ships currently are, Czar, Exo4239 , and Crosair. I have an idea, an endless mode where it randomly generates waves, if possible, it should mix the armor types in each wave, say, you can have a shielded with armored nearby, with unprotected ships in the back, but, I feel like endless shouldn't give you much coins, maybe a wave milestone can give you coins.

I love it! Slight problem for me however, being colourblind I find it incredibly difficult to see the red enemy projectiles, increasingly so with certain backgrounds. I'm struggling to progress because of it. It'd be great to be able to choose the colour of the projectiles.

Was able to finish stages. but now, it's like over and over and fkn over again and still no success. Took all my fun away. 🤬 Now? I am forced to fly some stolen alien vessel that won't allow me to get out of the thing and back to my regular ship. Just BACK TO STAGE 1 OVER AND OVER AGAIN? You're exceedingly annoying, and this game COULD be fun if it wasn't so hard to win levels. Nah! I deleted the bs.Go waste the next fools time you've used my last drop of patience 🤬

Pretty good, but there's a few issues. There's not many missions/ways to make credits so it effectively limits your daily playtime. The revives are weird, because you activate them before you start the mission, opposed to activating them when you die.

It's a fabulous game with excellent graphics and sound. The controls are incredibly smooth and the difficulty of this game is very good. Even on normal it can be very challenging - which is GOOD! A lot of games today are far too simple and easy. I can't tell you the number of ships in this game, but I can tell you that they are ALL unique and well balanced. There are no bad ships. Some make playing a bit easier than others, but they are all viable. Getting credits is hard though

One of the best of the genre I have ever played in the last 30 years! I love the gameplay, I love the style, the music grabs you and doesn't let go, the action thumps just right way, and the controls are intuitive for touchscreen play. I can tell the developers and designers put players first and playtested the ever-loving daylights out of this game - it is slick and polished to a high shine. The nostalgic beats of R-Type hit hard in a bite-sized mobile package. Well done
