2024-09-23 | Anjali Garg | Can there be a feature to set alert for a location when good viewing conditions are present. Checking daily for a given zip code.
2023-11-09 | Jon | I've been seeing these chains of satellites for months now and finally decided to research their flyover and found this App. Thank you so much!!!! I appreciate you!!!! In these times its amazing to see the technology in satellites. Elon musk is an amazing man. You are amazing as well for this free awesome app. Elon for POTUS 2028. Bought you 4 coffees 😁
2023-09-25 | Diane Bronicki | Love it! First time using the app. Conditions were slightly cloudy with Possible 2 thirds of a 🌜moon. Seen StarLink Bee Bopping through the night time ☁️ clouds. Such a great feeling to see this & experience it in the night 🌌sky. Thanks Elon Musk👍❤️
2023-09-22 | Doug Tincher | Works as described! Give extra time cause not perfect. We were able to see it using this app. Didn't find our town but did have the closest city. Keep your eyes on the sky. I have already recommended this app to my friends and family! Thanks for putting this out there for me to use!
2022-09-20 | Melanie Coffman | I spotted what I think was Starlink-60 (G4-34) (new), DIM (5.6) for 3 mins. It was most definitely not dim and moved so fast I couldn't call my mom out of the house in time to see it too. Moved across the sky much faster than 3 minutes. I came inside to see if I could find out what I saw and stumbled across this app. Downloading to see if I can't spot more instances!
2022-09-04 | Eric Uitenbroek | Took a few tries but finally seen Starlink. This app gave the exact time to look two nights in a row. The (new) BRIGHT is what to look for. Not as bright as the first satellites but definitely visible. Love this app!
2022-08-01 | B R | App isn't really useful for me. Those of you giving low ratings because the sats aren't very visible to you, it's not the fault of the app that you can't see them. If you live where there is too much light polution that will affect your ability to see them for starters, they are not bright. Due to complaints from the astro community Starlink have taken actions to tune down their reflectivity. I just look up for a bit and I find them but they are dim.
2020-08-21 | Jared Reeves | I'd really love to give this 5 stars because I love spotting starlink trains, but since downloading, I have not seen one single starlink much less a train 😔 i check the app literally every evening and when I'm lucky enough to have a batch of starlinks predicted to fly right over my location, even on a perfectly clear night there is absolutely nothing. It's quite disappointing! I'd love to have this app work! I'll happily change to 5 stars if it's fixed! 👍Updating to 5 stars, thanks dev!
2020-08-17 | Chris Gutierrez | So, after a few attempts I finally saw one. By one, I mean, one measly satellite, not a train of them like all these apps make it seem. It's very tiny and elusive, like trying to spot Mercury and it zips by fast. If it's not a completely dark and clear night, you'll easily miss it. Even with perfect conditions, it's difficult to spot. Nothing at all like the videos you see.
2020-06-14 | Elise (Mother Cub) | I'm pleasantly happy with this rather basic app. Really looking forward to seeing how the app develops in future versions. A bit niggling being in NZ as we are right where the map sort of breaks. Some further explanations or diagrams on how to interpret the angles that are given in your results would be helpful for beginners. This is still the app I will use for Starlink over other apps with too many other features. Good luck & clear skies to all ;) |
