The advertising and fake stories from non friends drive me nuts! I block them but they just never go away. I see more of them than threads from my actual friends. Also the popping sound when you respond can't be turned off. It never did this till FB updated the app. For those reasons I hardly go on FB anymore. It reminds me of other social media platforms that I stopped using that have fizzled out.

"Never autoplay videos" setting doesn't do anything. It ALWAYS autoplays the next video. ALWAYS. And the little button on screen to stop it from autoplaying is so tiny, that it's nearly impossible to press consistently. Facebook has been embracing "hostile user interfaces" of late.

Hey, trying to setup Facebook on a new phone. The app gets stuck the screen where it wants a phone number. You already have my number. It says we gavevthat number already. And the skip button won't work. Same for the add a new email screen. You have both my email address already. The skip button won't work. So Facebook won't be on my new phone. I'll have to use it only at home on my older phones.

New change to Ads overrides sound perference. I have videos muted in my fb ap. Recently, i noticed that, while the main video was muted, any ads shown during the video came on in full sound. I looked around in settings to see if i could fix this. I selected "no sounds in the app". Apparently, this doesn't include ads because im still having the same issue. I watch these videos when others are sleeping and such, so i really want no sounds. I dont want to hear the ads. Disapointed.

I do not want the Facebook browser. The Facebook browser is slow, the UI is unintuitive, and I do NOT trust it to not track, monitor, and sell my data. Recently the "open links externally" feature no longer works. All links open within the Facebook browser. I've cleared my cache, restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app. You've broken an important feature.

There's a lot of things that could be done better. starting with how the page jumps and you lose EVERYTHING while you're working on a message. That gets lost. Or like right now as I type this, the box is jumping all over the place! How do you make it stop? And the Draft situation has GOT to be fixed. I can save a draft or hope that my message drafts and it doesn't. Instead, it gets lost in no man's land. But that never happens. And a bunch of work ends up for naught. Wasted time too.

Most annoying thing: when scrolling through photos you have to tap two times in order to see the date and like count. Why? This app becomes less relevant each day. App will change the brightness of my screen while I'm on my news feed for certain videos, while also removing the setting to disable autoplay...... Also the app is full of false information and misinformation, like those fake planetary alignment posts. It's annoying. One star for being annoying af and suggesting garbage content.

I would have to say I use Facebook everyday to talk to people but I noticed since I've updated it, it won't allow me to see my cover picture nor anybody else's at that matter as well🤦🏻‍♀️ not sure what to do. I've uninstalled it completely as well and it didn't fix the cover picture problem but its quite frustrating. Any help is appreciated, thanks! I will change to a 5 star if someone can help me get the cover photos thing fixed.

I like how Facebook helps me stay connected with friends and family living all over the world. However, lately the app has been acting a bit strangely. My check-in/locations aren't working. I like to keep track of where I go and when, so that's not sitting well with me. And now my cover photo display, which I use to show off my pictures since photography is one of my hobbies, isn't working on the app. It's working through my browser, so I don't understand why the app is being so glitchy.

Every single time that I scroll, the very first reel is an animal being attacked, or killed, by other animals. Horrible images to have to see, whether it's "just nature," or not. I've stopped scrolling, and just look at my closest friends' posts. I'm sure that I'm missing out on many beautiful, and uplifting images. Instagram doesn't force these images on you. Why does Facebook do it?
